This is a card that has multiple purposes for various kinds of Decks, either for your own benefit, or as an offensive card. It is able to return your banished cards to the Deck to recycle them, additionally, it is able to return your opponent's banished cards to annoy them by turning them into face-downs instead, which they can't use. Along with that, the last effect is able to bring back cards to the Deck, to clean out your banished cards, which allows you to gain back your cards you had previously lost due to them being face-down. This card can have uses in many kinds of Decks, most Decks that focus on banishing, like Ritual Beast, Vendread and Shiranui can benefit from this, as well as Decks that banish face-down, which aren't that many of, but Toons would like to return them for sure. It's not a card for every Deck, but as it is so easily able to be used, and has many different kinds of uses, I still find that it's a neat card, and you never need more than two, since you can recycle the card with another copy of itself.

 

Pay 1000 LP; if a player has any banished cards, they shuffle all their banished cards into their Deck, then both players banish cards from the top of their Deck face-down equal to the number of cards they shuffled into their Deck. During your Main Phase: You can banish this card from your GY; both players shuffle all their face-down banished cards into the Deck. You can only use 1 effect of “Door of Desolation” per turn, and only once that turn.

Look fine at a casual level. As mentioned in the opening thread, banish-happy decks may like it for their recycling but... if playing serious, the duel should be over before you get your monsters back in into the Deck and banished again. In casual metas, however, which I assume and expect are slower, a card like this may pay off.

If it banished the card face-up, then it would offer extra value for big plays with those cards that like and/or want to be banished.
