Curse Mark of Hovorz: Equip Spell

When this card is activated: you can inflict 200 damage to your opponent's Life Points and you gain 200 Life Points. If this card on the field is sent to the GY: you can banish 1 random face-up card your opponent controls. While this card is in your GY: You can target 1 level 4 EARTH Warrior-Type monster you control; equip this card to that target. The equipped monster can attack your opponent directly, but it loses 800 ATK and DEF. You can only activate each effect of "Curse Mark of Hovorz" once per turn.

My first insticts scream M E T A L F O E S but to be honest that archetype already has plenty of removal so I doubt they'd run one that's luck-reliant.

EARTH Warrior, hmm? U.A. and Goukis could use it. Altough U.A. already have a much better Equip Spell in the form of Jersey idontrememberhowitscalled. This would be more useful in Goukis as that Deck has plenty of combos involving Isolde and this would be a decent Equip Spell to run to be dumped by her.

Overall I like the card! Goodo jobbu. If I'd change anything it'd be the Level 4 restriction as I really don't see the point of it.

It would be better than a Farfa since the banishment is permanent. Also, banishing 1 random face-up card, I'm curious on what you would have to do to select it randomly, both IRL and in a emulator. I mean, in IRL I guess you can just flip them down, rearrange them and ask your opponent to choose one, but how would you simulate it in YGOPro or DB? xD

Anyway, it looks like it's pushing it a bit. Think about it: as long as you sustain a Level 4 EARTH Warrior on your field, you can keep bringing this back and banish whatever your opponent gets face-up on its board. Feels unfair, especially when Heroic Challenger - Thousand Blades is a thing.

in irl dice roll or etc.

if you made it work from anywhere it turns isolde into a random farfa but i guess that isnt cool enough :(

From anywhere? how would that work?

I do not want make it too powerful by removing the level restriction, if enough people think I need to remove then yeah I'll remove it.

Yes, but even with a hard OPT, we are speaking of 1 "free" banishment per turn, as long as you can provide that Level 4 EARTH Warrior of course, and you can further combo it with cards like "Hidden Armory" to equip it again for the opponent's turn, or playing "Swords at Dawn" during the opponent's turn as well. Actually, the latter doesn't seem that bad because then you would be dedicating your deck to this card, and that actually is something I wouldn't mind seeing it and could even be amusing. Perhaps add some restrictions so you are forced to play some sort of EARTH Warrior beat deck in order to access this toy?

She means going for a clause like "If this card is sent to the GY: [effect]". That way it would also trigger if you discard it, or mill it with Foolish Burial Goods, etc.
