[spoiler=Daigusto Griffins: Info]

WIND/Psychic-Type Synchro Tuner Effect Monster/Level 7/2800 ATK/1500 DEF

Lore: 1 Tuner + 1+ "Gusto" non-Tuner monsters

For this Synchro Summon of this card, you can treat 1 Level 5 or 6 WIND monster you control as a Tuner. If this card is Special Summoned: You can activate this effect; until the end of the next turn, your opponent must pay 500 LP to activate a Spell/Trap or non-WIND monster's effect (even if this card leaves the field). WIND monsters you control cannot be targeted by card effects. Once per turn, if there are less cards in your hand than WIND monsters in your GY (Quick Effect); You can discard 1 card; Special Summon 1 WIND monster from your hand or GY with 1500 or less DEF.

Sph(Reeze) is kinda without her own mount in Gustos as well, kind people. Oh, she has a Synchro form-and possibly the best thing Gustos have going for it-but it does not count since there is no mount. And also because they're combining tech with Vylons after apparently learning nothing from the lackluster efforts the Genex before them gave-to both story and meta.

SO THERE.

Winda's got one-technically, three if we're counting her corruption in Shaddolls and rebirth in Ritual Beasts. Pilica gets her wings in Zefras, Winda, Windaar and Kamui have theirs in Gusto, and Musto's combined with Gishki Emilia in the great Ice Barrier Terminal War- and as for Caam, let's just say she also has her day in the sun with the Gishki alliance too, courtesy of the Workshop.

So what is the new Gusto Mount's ability going to give to Gustos?

Well, that's simple dear Watson-a first turn option, one that even Ghost Ogre can't stop, to punish effect intensive Decks. And its discard effect....well, I'm certain that Sphreez you used to make this won't mind making your opponent regret sending Lightning in against your board.

Anywez, I've burned up enough of your time, folks. Till the next card, may the reviews and revelry arrive in abundance.

BDS, signing off.

Pure is still terrible but, suppose you can make it if you go with the diagram build

> Dragonic Diagram + Gusto Griffan + Gusto Squirro

> Activate Diagram

> pop Griffan in hand, search Mariamne

> Activate Griffan, summon Gulldo

> Activate Mariamne, pop Gulldo and Squirro

> Activate Gulldo and Squirro, Summon Gusto Egul and Pilica, Descendant of Gusto respectively

> Activate Pilica, Summon Gulldo

> Send Pilica and Gulldo for Daigusto Sphreez

> Activate Sphreez, get back Griffin

> Send Sphreez and Egul for this thing here, make sure to activate its effect

> At this point you have Squirro, Gulldo, Egul, Pilica, and Sphreez in the GY so you should be able to pitch Griffin to summon Sphreez off this card

> Activate Griffin, summon Egul

> Send this card and Egul for Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon

To be honest, that went a lot further than I expected, and no normal summon was used surprisingly so you could get back Pilica from the GY and Normal her if you have a good follow up instead of getting back Griffen

I imagine this would be pretty sacky if you got another one up next turn and summoned it so that your opponent has to pay 1000LP to do anything, not many decks are living through that. Maybe require it to be Synchro Summoned to get that effect?

The "For this Synchro Summon of this card, you can treat 1 Level 5 or 6 WIND monster you control as a Tuner." seems pretty redundant, can't see that ever really see that being useful, since if I have a Level 5 or 6 Wind monster, It's probably a Gusto, and it would be much better put to work on the [1+ "Gusto" non-Tuner monsters] part instead.

Overall it's a solid card, finally, something to Synchro up into that isn't terrible. A lot of the theming (Discarding, cards in the GY) fit some of the other cards and work rather nicely with them.
