The Special Summoned monster is treated as if it was Normal Summoned. While you control a "Nordic" or "Aesir" monster (Quick Effect): You can banish this card from your GY; take 1 "Nordic Relic" Spell/Trap Card from your Deck or GY, and either activate it, or add it to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Hakon of the Nordic Ascendant" once per turn. A card I made a while ago. The first effect is searching power for Nordics. It's intended to assist with the effects of Valkyrie and Mara, although it doesn't outright set them up as they are still missing 1 monster, although I'm tempted to make it add a 2nd one through an extra cost, like banishing 2 Nordic cards from the GY, but I want to stay fair for now. The "treated as Normal Summon" is to further sinergize with Alfars.The second effect is intended to add value to Nordic Relics as techs. 1~2 Relics should suffice since it can grab it from both GY and Deck. Darj Posted May 8, 2018 Author Report Share Posted May 8, 2018 bumpcbring up my post (count) :v Should I add an extra effect among the lines of "you can also banish 2 Nordic monsters from your GY and if you do, add 1 additinal Nordic to your hand" for the insta-setup of Valkyrie or Mara?
