Cyber Eternity Dragon, not sure I really want to spend 3 monsters on this, while it does allow you to use a lot more kinds of Machines, it seems like an unlikely scenario where this would be preferable. While it does have amazing DEF, and the protection is interesting, and it does have a floating effect too, seems like other choices could just end it faster.

Cyber Pharos, interesting card, not only for its use in Cyber Dragon, but also elsewhere, Cyberdark and Roids may find this interesting. The Power Bond search is fun too.

Cyberload Fusion, on paper, it sounds like it could be quite good, especially since you can just attack with other monsters first, then pull this out in your Battle Phase. Not sure though if it will come through.

You're most likely not going to "use three monsters" in the traditional sense since Cyberload Fusion is the way to summon either it or Overdragon. Given how much Cydra banishes, it'll be an easy T3-4 Drop

Finally we get a CyDra Fusion Spell... and it's also a Quick-Play. Fun.

Cyber Eternity is kinda meh. From the current wording, it seems you can only protect Fusion Monsters during your turn... and it's an ignition effect. Disappointing imo.

I knew one day we'd get a Power Bond searcher in CyDras.

Cyber Eternity Dragon is basically Cyber End Barrier Dragon, standing in complete opposition to everything Cyber Dragons are about and not hard to play around as it presents no disruption and no threat on its own.

Yes, Cyber Dragon players the world over wanted easier access to Power Bond, but

(3) When a Fusion Monster you control is destroyed by battle: You can banish this card from your GY; add 1 “Power Bond” from your Deck to your hand.

I was intrigued to see that Cyberload Fusion was a Quick-Play spell, but

also monsters you control cannot attack for the rest of this turn, except the Special Summoned monster.

Defeats the purpose of being a Quick-Play Spell.

Emergency Cyber, Revsystem, and Cyber Dragon Herz are decent cards that could potentially propel Cyber Dragons back from tier 5 to tier 4, but Cyber Dragons are still very much playing catch up, in stark contrast to their debut when they truly were revolutionary.

1. Yeah, I'm surprised it doesn't follow either the OTK theme of CyDras, nor the stun from Infinity. Then again, in a way Infinity was, and still is, an oddball in CyDras.

2. Agreed. The conditions to search Power Bond are awkward and impractical.

3. To be fair, as a Quick-Play you can play it during the opponent's turn and attack with full power during your next turn. Actually, it says "for the rest of this turn", so you can still attack with all your monsters, then follow up with this.

Anyway, the Fusion Spell is may favorite of the bunch. It gets both "Cyber" and "Fusion" support, good for extra damage or a surprise Rampage Dragon during the opponent's turn. It's no Overload Fusion, but still good IMO. In fact Overload Fusion would set it up.

Eternity does nothing and gets Borreloaded, at best.

Pharos is bad because it only goes into Eternity and Chimeratech Overdragon on its own, and if it's not a material it's a glorified polymerization.

Cyberload Fusion might be decent for OTKing harder, especially with Sieger. It is serachable, after all, so prob fine.

Want to add that I find the art of Eternity Dragon freaking cool and majestic. Also I just noticed its 4000 DEF.

IDK... if it could also float into any Fusion that includes Cyber Dragon from the ED, except itself of course, similar to how Nova does, it would have been much more appealing IMO.
