M.M.M.

 

An archetype of Wind-type fiends, their main gimmick is to mill the opponent's deck by their effects and gain effects from it and can special summon a monster from opponent's graveyard on destruction. They are all level 4 and have related effects on milling that lead to field spam or random pops. Their Spell and Trap are continuous and focus on further mill of the opponent's deck and they have a highly flexible rank-up card with a great rank 4-5 toolbox full of negations and free destruction on milling.

 

 


 

[spoiler=Design Notes]This is one of my older, weaker, and more badly designed archetypes, that I decided to revisit. I buffed the effects, made it more thematic and less cookie-cutter, and actually added stuff that was in the prompt, such as making the R4/5 a toolbox and giving it the Rank-Up-Magic that was specific. It's actually pretty generic, and while I haven't found a broke combination yet, the flexible nature specified in the prompt was bound to have some bad interactions when given to me. (haha I'm not a great designer xd)

 

WIND Fiends was an interesting combination I enjoyed making. As for the names, 99% of them are puns based on clouds and different types of magical people. I know, it's not very accurate because they're fiends, not Spellcasters, but Majespecters are Spellcasters. Magibullet are Fiends. why can't I take liberties?! IS THIS NOT A FREE SITE????????? I just went crazy with the S/T too; random themes for the win.

 

And...that's it. It's late at night, I've forgotten all my pre-prepared combos, and I love Xyz Decks, so I must be half-asleep. Hopefully this was a fun read xd

M.M.M. Cumulusage

WIND - ✪✪✪✪ - Fiend/Effect - 1100/1900

If this card is Normal or Special Summoned while you control another “M.M.M.” monster(s): Send the top 2 cards of your opponent’s Deck to the GY. If this card is destroyed: You can target 1 monster in your opponent’s GY that was sent there by the effect of an “M.M.M.” monster you controlled; Special Summon it to your side of the field. You can only use this effect of this card’s name once per turn.

 

M.M.M. Circurer

WIND - ✪✪✪✪ - Fiend/Effect - 1400/1200

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can send the top 3 cards of your opponent’s Deck to the GY, and, if there were any Spell/Trap Cards sent to the GY by this effect, destroying one monster your opponent controls of their choice. If this card is destroyed: You can target 1 Level 4 or lower monster in your opponent’s GY; Special Summon it to your side of the field. You can only use this effect of this cards name once per turn.

 

M.M.M. Stratonomer

WIND - ✪✪✪✪ - Fiend/Effect - 1500/1600

Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can target 1 card on the field; send a number of cards from the top of your opponent’s Deck to the GY equal to the number of face-up “M.M.M.” monsters you control, and if any Spell/Trap Cards were sent to the GY by this effect, destroy that target. If this card is destroyed: You can Special Summon 1 other “M.M.M” monster from your Graveyard. You can only use this effect of this card’s name once per turn.

 

M.M.M. Cirrazard

WIND - ✪✪✪✪ - Fiend/Effect - 1800/200

If this card is Special Summoned while you control another “M.M.M.” monster(s): You can send the top 3 cards of your opponent’s Deck to the GY, then Special Summon any monsters sent to the GY by this effect to your side of the field. If this card is destroyed: You can banish any number of of “M.M.M.” monsters from your GY, then target a monster in your opponent’s GY with a Level less than or equal to the total Level of monsters banished; Special Summon it. You can only use each effect of this card’s name once per turn.

WIND - ✪✪✪✪ - Fiend/Xyz/Effect - 2200/1700

2 Level 4 WIND monsters

Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can detach 1 material from this card, then target 1 Fiend monster in your GY and 1 monster in your opponent’s GY; banish those targets, and if you do, your opponent discards 1 card. If this card is destroyed: Send the top 2 cards of your opponent’s Deck to the GY.

 

M.M.M. Clouwitch

WIND - ✪✪✪✪ - Fiend/Xyz/Effect - 2000/2300

2 Level 4 Fiend monsters

Once per turn, if a card(s) is sent from your opponent’s Deck to the GY: Send the top card of your opponent’s Deck to the GY, and if you do, Special Summon 1 “M.M.M.” monster from your Deck. (Quick Effect): You can detach 1 material from this card, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; negate its effects, and if you do, send cards from the top of their Deck to the GY equal to its Level/Rank. You can only activate this effect of this card’s name once per turn.

 

M.M.M. Winistor

WIND - ✪✪✪✪ - Fiend/Xyz/Effect - 2800/300

3 Level 4 WIND monsters

Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card; send 1 card from the top of your opponent’s Deck to the GY for each card they control, also those sent cards cannot activate their effects this turn. If this card leaves the field: You can target 1 Fiend monster you control; Special Summon this card, then attach that target to this card as material. You can only use this effect of this card’s name once per turn.

 

M.M.M. Arcmage

WIND - ✪✪✪✪✪ - Fiend/Xyz/Effect - 2700/2400

3 Level 5 monsters

Once per turn, if a card(s) is sent from your opponent’s Deck to the GY: You can detach 1 material from this card; destroy 1 card on the field. If this card has an Xyz Monster attached to it as a material, it gains this effect:

● Once per turn, when your opponent activates a monster or Spell/Trap Card’s effect (Quick Effect): you can negate that effect, and if you do, banish that card, also send the top 2 cards of their Deck to the GY.

 

M.M.M. Mesomancer

WIND - ✪✪✪✪✪ - Fiend/Xyz/Effect - 3200/1300

3 Level 5 monsters

Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card, then target 1 Level/Rank 4 or lower Fiend monster in your GY; Special Summon it. If this card has an Xyz Monster attached to it as a material, it gains this effect:

● Cannot be targeted or destroyed by your opponents cards or effects while it has material.

Stratosphere Shenanigans

Normal Spell

Target 1 card you control; destroy it, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "M.M.M." monster from your Deck. If your opponent activates a card or effect that targets a WIND monster(s) you control: You can banish this card from your GY; negate that card or effect.

 

Rank-Up-Magic Sky Call

Normal Spell

Target 1 face-up Rank 4 Xyz Monster you control; Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 Xyz Monster that is 1 Rank higher than but the same Type and Attribute as that target, by using that target as the Xyz Material. (This Special Summon is treated as an Xyz Summon. Materials attached to that target also become materials on the Summoned monster.) You can banish this card and 1 “M.M.M.” monster from the your GY, then target 1 monster in your opponent’s GY; Special Summon it to your side of the field in Defense Position, but its effects are negated.

 

Denial of Jupiter

If your opponent activates a card or effect while you control a WIND monster: Send the top 2 cards of their Deck to the GY. While you control a WIND Xyz Monster, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in the GY.

 

Denial of Ra

Continuous Spell

Once per turn, if a card(s) is sent from your opponent’s Deck to the GY while you control a WIND monster: You can draw 1 card for each Spell/Trap Card sent to the GY this way. While you control a WIND Xyz Monster, your opponent cannot move cards from their GY to another location.

 

Denial of Yahweh

Continuous Trap

If a card(s) is sent from a player’s Deck to the GY while their opponent controls a WIND monster: All monsters their opponent controls gain 100 ATK for each card sent to the GY this way. Once per turn, if you control an “M.M.M.” monster: You can roll a six-sided dice, and if you do, send cards from the top of each player’s Deck to the GY equal to the result, then each player can Special Summon 1 monster sent to their opponent’s GY this way in Defense Position.
