Black D'Sceptyr
BD'S, apparently you have a habit of making busted cards for otherwise undersupported Monster Types, despite Dinosmashers' Fury showing how they can easily lead to stuff you like getting hit. Why persist so much in this counterproductive task? [spoiler=Lantern Ladybug: Info] LIGHT/Insect-Type Effect Monster/Level 1/0 ATK/1000 DEF Lore: You can reveal this card in your hand, then target 1 monster on the field with less DEF than an Insect monster you control; Special Summon this revealed card, and if you do, equip that target to this card. You can destroy 1 card equipped to an Insect monster on the field, then declare a number from 1 to 8; this card's Level becomes that number until the End Phase, also it cannot be destroyed by battle, except against a monster with that Level (permanently). You can only use each effect of "Lantern Ladybug" once per turn. You can activate either of this card's effects during either player's turn, if there are only Insect monsters in your GY. This, see, continues the trend of Insect support niches that both Weevil's Legendary Duelist support and the rise of the Krawlers have carved out-level 1 to get around Worm Bait's limitation, LIGHT Insect to get into the Digital Bug's playground if need be (and, y'know, cuz lantern), Level changing to help with the Inzektor strategy should you choose to pursue it, and that effect being primarily dependent on destroying an equip card an Insect's got-gee, wonder how we're most likely gonna setup for that? But alas, there are limitations-the monster's DEF has to pale in comparison to an Insect monster's DEF of yours. Giga-Weevil would likely be dancing in the street on this, but that Quick-Effect condition trigger is how you're most likely making this. And with it, Krawlers and Inzektors alike gain a rather potent removal play for most of the big threats that plague them. After all, when the lights come on, there are those that stand in it and thrive and those that survive by scurrying away only to get squished another day. Until the next card fellas, reviews and revelry are like 10 or more skips to a rock over the lake
