(Written) New gods? need stronger and better gods! (First Edition)

Recommended Posts

As the title suggest we need stronger and more mainstream gods. The old school (haha get it?) gods will never be good enough to be meta worthy. With that in mind I made these. The parts of the texts that make the old gods weak and not fast enough will be improved on.

Old Obelisk The Tormentor: Level 10 | DIVINE| Divine Beast-Type | Effect | 4000 ATK | 4000 DEF

Requires 3 Tributes to Normal Summon (cannot be Normal Set). This card's Normal Summon cannot be negated. When Normal Summoned, cards and effects cannot be activated. Cannot be targeted by Spells, Traps, or card effects. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was Special Summoned: Send it to the Graveyard. You can Tribute 2 monsters; destroy all monsters your opponent controls. This card cannot declare an attack the turn this effect is activated.

Weakness

*automatic minus 3 to summon.

*normal summoning requires 3 monsters

*(cant be set IDK why you would but hey one less option)

*If special summon, you lose it during the end phase

*tribute 2 monsters to potentially remove 2 or more off your opponent's side of the field after summoning this guy.

*uses his special ability this hulking power house can not even attack even though it being only viable as 4000 beat-stick

Obelisk the Devastator: Level 10 | DIVINE| Divine Beast-Type | Effect | 4000 ATK | 4000 DEF

While this card is in your hand, Deck or, GY this card's name is "Obelisk the Tormentor". You can send 2 face-up monsters you control and 1 "Obelisk the Tormentor" card from Deck to the GY (This is a quick-effect); Special Summon this card from your hand. Requires 3 Tributes to Normal Summon. This card's Summon cannot be negated. When Summoned, cards and effects cannot be activated. If Summoned: Draw 1 card. Cannot be targeted by Spells, Traps, or card effects. You can Tribute 1 other monster and discard 1; destroy all monsters your opponent controls. This card cannot declare an attack the turn this effect is activated unless you pay 4000 Life Points.

*Not losing as much if summoning this.

*Can still be normal summon but special summoning is quicker and a tad cheaper

*Can be set but idk why you would....

*No longer lose it during the end phase if Special Summon.

*Still -2 to pop opponent's field but less taxing since one do not need to tribute 2 monsters

*Can attack the turn it activate it's effect but talk about a hefty price but hey you going to OTK so that doesn't really matter anyhow, right? RIGHT!

Old Slifer the Sky Dragon: Level 10 | DIVINE| Divine Beast-Type | Effect | ? ATK | ? DEF

Requires 3 Tributes to Normal Summon (cannot be Normal Set). This card's Normal Summon cannot be negated. When Normal Summoned, cards and effects cannot be activated. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was Special Summoned: Send it to the GY. Gains 1000 ATK and DEF for each card in your hand. If a monster(s) is Normal or Special Summoned to your opponent's field in Attack Position: That monster(s) loses 2000 ATK, then if its ATK has been reduced to 0 as a result, destroy it.

Weakness

*automatic minus 3 to summon.

*normal summoning requires 3 monsters

*(cant be set IDK why you would but hey one less option)

*If special summon, you lose it during the end phase

*can be targeted by stuff after summoning.

*Stats are based off number of cards in hand which is annoying since summoning this guy eats your hand when you summon him.

*Cares abut how monsters are summon on your opponent's side of the field and their position also their stats as well

Slifer the Devastator Dragon: Level 10 | DIVINE| Divine Beast-Type | Effect | ? ATK | ? DEF

If a monster(s) is Summoned to your opponent's field: That monster(s) loses 2000 ATK and 2000 DEF, then if its ATK and/or DEF has been reduced to 0 as a result, destroy it.

Weakness

*automatic minus 3 to summon.

*normal summoning requires 3 monsters

*(cant be set IDK why you would but hey one less option)

*CAN NOT BE SPECIAL SUMMON

*put you to near death for an over glorified beat-stick
