Want to have your opponent's every attempt at damaging you thrown in your face? OVER HERE AT THE BLADES OF CHANGE WORKSHOP WE GOT WHAT YOU NEED ( and some things noone asked for, but still) So yeah, the cards Bastion had way back when in the beginning of GX had a missing member, Fire Dragon. It was awesome, possibly, but the Bonding around it is what makes it truly shine. Rather than go for the Water Dragon Cluster Route, I decided to merge the extra power and effects into the Bonding cards themselves, then gave a Fire Dragon that was weaker thank Water Dragon but can take it down...by other means. All in all, I think I've helped to round out a rather underserved part of Bastion's Deck, considiering how so much of his other stuff became staples and power players as stand-alones (Mathematician and Mezuki/Gozuki come to mind.) Enjoy! FIRE/Dinosaur-Type Effect Monster/Level 4/1400 ATK/1200 DEF Lore: (Quick Effect): You can shuffle 1 monster whose original name is "Nitrogeddon", "Oxygeddon", or "Carboneddon" from your hand or GY into the Deck, then target 1 Pyro or Dinosaur monster you control; until the End Phase, that target's ATK becomes 2900, also it is unaffected by other monster effects. You can only use this effect of "Nitrogeddon" once per turn. This card's name is also treated as "Oxygeddon" while in the hand or GY, and as "Carboneddon" while on the field. Normal Spell Card Lore: Tribute 1 "Carboneddon" and 2 "Oxygeddon" from your hand and/or field; Special Summon 1 "Fire Dragon" from your hand, Deck, or GY. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the GY from the field; You can shuffle this card from your GY into the Deck; discard 1 "Fire Dragon" or 1 "Bonding" Spell/Trap, except "Bonding - CO2", and if you do, draw 2 cards. Quick-Play Spell Card Lore: Tribute 1 "Carboneddon", 1 "Oxygeddon", and 1 "Nitrogeddon", but no more than 1 each from your hand, field, and Deck; Special Summon 1 Level 8 Pyro monster or 1 "Water Dragon Cluster" that is either in your hand or banished, ignoring its Summoning conditions, but destroy it during the end of your opponent's next turn, also it gains this effect. • (Quick Effect): You can banish this card; Special Summon 1 Level 8 Pyro monster and 1 Level 8 Sea Serpent monster from your hand and/or Deck in Defense Position, ignoring their Summoning conditions. Normal Trap Card Lore: Send 1 "Nitrogeddon" and 2 "Oxygeddon" from your hand and/or Deck to the GY; Special Summon 1 "Fire Dragon" from your hand or GY. Its name becomes "Fire Dragon Pyre" while on the field, it gains 2 Levels, also it gains this effect. • (Quick Effect): You can banish this card; Special Summon 2 "Fire Dragon" from your hand and/or Deck, ignoring their Summoning conditions.You can banish this card and 1 "Nitrogeddon" from your GY; Special Summon 1 monster from your Deck whose name is specifically listed in that banished monster's text. You can only use this effect of "Bonding - NO2" once per turn. FIRE/Pyro-Type Effect Monster/Level 8/2700 ATK/2700 DEF Lore: Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned with the effect of a "Bonding" Spell/Trap. If this card battles while there is a WATER or Aqua monster on the field, before damage calculation: Halve your opponent's LP. If this card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can Special Summon 1 "Carboneddon" and up 2 "Oxygeddon" that are either in your GY or banished and/or destroy cards on the field so the total number of Summoned monsters and destroyed cards exactly equals 3. UPDATE I: Added Nitrogeddon and fixed the Bonding Spell Speed 2 cards to work with it-now you may not need the Oxygeddon original around anymore, and the Deck these cards accomodate will be faster for it.
