When this card is Special Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Normal Monster from your hand to negate this effect, otherwise the ATK of all Effect Monsters on the field become half their original ATK. While this Link Summoned card points to no Effect Monsters, it cannot be destroyed by battle. All Level 3 or lower Normal Monsters you control gain 1000 ATK.

 

 

 

But no seriously, this Link-2 is a combination of two long-forgotten Emissaries-that of the Oasis and the Afterlife, both of which helped Exodia Decks once upon a time. However, this card does allow the Summoning of vanillas from the hand, so some possible token-work can help you get to this easer if you're running a mono-Attribute in your Main Deck. Hallelujer for Linkuriboh, I say! 

 

 

 

ATK's a bit hefty for a Link-2 but unless you Summon the vanilla, that's gonna take a cut. And Level 3 or lower vanillas gaining a stack may help a World Chalice player or three.

 

Also, folks, keep in mind that effect for battle immunity extends to anything that's not an Effect monster. Like, say, an oversized Invoked Monster you might want to put down there. But hey, it's not like Aleister's been getting cozy with any LIGHT Decks as of late, right? (/sarc)
