At the start of the damage step, if this card battles a monster whose ATK is greater than this cards ATK: this cards ATK becomes equal to the ATK of the monster this card battles + 500 during damage calculation only. When this card leaves the field, add 1 "Gouki" card from your deck to your hand. You can only activate this effect of "Gouki The White Ogre" once per turn.

 

 

So this card gives Gouki's a Link 1 that they can use where White Ogre acts like a Wicked Avatar when it battles always having 500 more ATK than the opponents Monster when it battles something with greater ATK. In addition this card also acts like the main deck Gouki's which can search a Gouki card from the deck and add it to your hand which this can be powerful in link laddering with this.

 

In Gouki's this would act as both a simple yet necessary piece to the Gouki deck in terms of link Monster line up.
