Vennomoros, the Servant of Poisonous Snakes
✪✪✪✪ (Level 4)
DARK
[Reptile/Fusion/Effect]
ATK/ 1500 DEF/ 0

1 "Venom" monster + 1 monster with a Venom Counter on it

Cannot be Fusioned Summon. Must first be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by sending above cards from the field to the GY (The "Venom" monster from your side of the field and the monster with a Venom Counter  on it from either player's side of the field). This card is unaffected by "Venom Swamp". Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can target 1 monster on the field; place 2 Venom Counters on it. Once per turn, if a monster is destroyed by battle by a "Venom" or "Vennom" monster you control or is destroyed by the effect of "Venom Swamp": Special Summon 1 "Venom" or "Vennom" monster from your Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions.

May very well do too much on 1 card... But, Venom sucks the hardest of any Deck imaginable so I think it is justified. Perhaps they could use more Main Deck members like some people on here went out of their way to do, but I digress.

Least the good part is that it's easily set up via Snake and Serpent if you're going 2nd, but that requires you to either wait until then or hope you can set up a sizable board / play Swamp first to get things going. I really don't see a reason for why you would put a Venom Counter on your own monster though, so mostly you're using the opponent's stuff (I guess similar to Fortress Dragon).

Rest of the effects are fine; first one eliminates the need to run Boa (seriously, who has time to summon the Level 5 now without getting killed) and the other effects gives them well-needed field advantage (or help thereof). At the least, make Vennominon easier to get out so you don't have to Tribute for him in this era before triggering stuff for Rise.

====

Then again, they do need more Main Decks and all to work with without having to rely on generic Reptile stuff to fill in the blanks (and otherwise getting killed by Swamp because not Venom monster).

EDIT: One thing I just checked; Vennominon can't be Special Summoned by another monster's effect and Vennominaga can't either out of the Rise of the Snake Deity Trap, so...you may want to have this ignore Summoning conditions.

Ohh lol... Completely forgot about that one. I feel so stupid for not looking at that. At least you can't cheat "Vennominaga" with the Summoning condition thing because of that BKSS ruling so I'll do that.

To be honest, I forgot about it too until I decided to make a Venom deck on YGOPro for testing purposes. The BKSS ruling is dumb (well, it could be said about a lot of other cards), but suppose it's a good thing considering the immunities that thing has.

But yeah, now you can summon Vennominon (given you made the adjustment). Sure, you get a massive beatstick mid/late game, but if you pop him by card effect or something, he isn't coming back. (But you want him destroyed for Rise anyway, so...)
