[spoiler: Candle in the D'ark] LIGHT - Level 1 - Spellcaster/Tuner/Effect - 500 ATK/400 DEF

You can Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, banish your entire hand, face-down. You can only use this effect of "Candle in the D'ark" once per turn. Once per turn, during the End Phase: Target 1 card on the field; banish it. When this card leaves the field, randomly add your banished cards to your hand up to the number of cards banished by the preceding effects.

I can really see the appeal of Casual Card Design. It's 3:30 am atm and I'm tired af. Probably wouldn't be able to describe this card to you good enough anyway, so I'm just posting the card. Goodluck trying to figure out how this card works. Imma sleep.

This one feels fairly straightforward. Free monster for Link fodder with the potential to either alter your hand (if you’ve got multiple things banished before summoning this), or just get your hand back (if not). At first I missed the “randomly” part, so I thought that this with PoD would let you pretty much set up your hand for free. Either way would still build up Gren Maju’s deck potential.

Of course, if your opponent drops Called by the Grave on this, you’ll probably just lose, so... yeah.

Tuner utility is tuner utility. Recovering this during End Phase for some free removal is nice. You can easily trade it for Linkuriboh to trigger its last effect (and start plays w/o using your Normal Summon). Easy card to start Needlefiber shenanigans (which I believe would be doubly effective as you could put this as Chain Link 2 to prevent your opponent from being able to respond to Needle’s effect).

Alright I'm not as tired now. Anyways lemme explain the card now since I changed it a bit.

  • Think a free SS but between the time you Summon it and it leaves the field, you can't use the other cards in your hand. Now I made it so you don't have to have a hand to SS it, but I figured it would be better this way for top decking and such. Also now there's some notable Infernity Synergy
  • Made the SS a HOPT so you couldn't keep reusing it if you banish it with another card effect.
  • In Banish Decks, the idea here is that you can get a free Reload that goes through your banished cards rather than your Deck. Thought this would be interesting.

This has Advanced Section quality, IMO. At worst, an easy monster to Summon that gives the cost back if you use it as Synchro/Link/Fusion material; at best, it will do that while triggering cards that float when they are banished, namely Metaphys and the recent Thunder Dragons. Plus it gets Needlefiber support, and you can even leave it on the field for a potent banish removal in a pinch. Or Summon it during the opponent's turn somehow for the End Phase banishment.

Oh, also it's searchable by Sage of Eyes of Blue, for whatever that's worth.

Again, the only reason I post here is that sometimes I feel lazy and don't want to post with entire descriptions, and would rather just show the YCM what I'm making rather than not post at all.

As for the Needlefiber, he negates the effects of the Tuner so idk if that matters (although you can use it as material I guess)

The other uses seem alright considering its a free SS (kinda). Metaphys and Thunder Dragon seem appropriate.

So yeah thx for the review.

Yeah, with Needlefiber support I meant that as Level 1 it can be searched by it. Also that it can be used as material for it, but that goes for every Tuner anyway.

Unfortunately, it can't trigger banish floating effs since it banishes the cards face-down.

I didn't notice the Level 1 LIGHT Tuner support via the Blue-Eyes cards.  That's actually really neat.  Summon Sage, grab this, Sage into Linkuriboh, SS this, Kuri/Candle into Needlefiber plays.
