Monsters

 

Plague-marked Zombie                DARK/Zombie/LV 2                         ATK 400 / DEF 200

You can only activate the effect if “Plague-marked Zombie” once per turn. If this card is sent from your Deck to the Graveyard: Activate 1 of these effects.

● Special Summon this card from the Graveyard.

● Add this card from the Graveyard to your hand.

2 Zombie monsters, including a “Plaguespreader Zombie”

If a Zombie monster is Synchro Summoned to a zone this card points to, you can Special Summon from your Extra Deck a Zombie Synchro monster with the same level but a different original name (this is treated as a Synchro Summon) but if you do both those monsters lose 400 ATK until the end of the turn. You can only activate this effect of “Plague-ridden Zombie” once per turn. Cannot be targeted for an attack while it points to a Zombie monster. Cannot be targeted by card effects while it points to a Synchro monster.

"Plaguespreader Zombie" + 1 or more non-Tuner Zombie-Type monsters

If this monster card is destroyed by battle or by an opponent’s card effect, target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; equip this card to that target. While this card is equipped to a monster by this effect, take control of that monster. If a monster equipped with this card is destroyed by battle or by an opponent’s card effect, you can target a Zombie monster that is in the GY or is banished, other than “Decayed Necrofear”; Special Summon it.

 

Gilfer The Undead                           DARK/Zombie/Synchro/LV 6       ATK 2200 / DEF 2500

"Plaguespreader Zombie" + 1 or more non-Tuner Zombie-Type monsters

If a Zombie monster is sent to the GY, you can target a monster the opponent controls; it loses 500 ATK. If this card is sent to the GY, all Zombie monsters you currently control gain 500 ATK

 

Spells

 

Plague Victims                  Normal

Send 1 or 2 cards from the top of your Deck to the GY to select a number of the following effects depending on the number of cards sent and resolve in sequence. You can only activate “Plague Victims” once per turn.

  • Special Summon a “Plague Token” (Dark/Zombie/Level 2/ATK 0/DEF 0).
  • Send a “Plague” monster from your Deck to the GY.

 

Plague Return                   Normal

Target a Level 6 Zombie Synchro monster in your GY; Special Summon it. If you controlled a Level 6 Zombie Synchro monster with a different original name when you activated this card, you can then target a monster the opponent controls; it’s ATK and DEF become 0.

 

Plague Rush                       Quick-Play

Once this turn, if you Synchro or Link Summon a Zombie monster using a “Plaguespreader Zombie” you control as material, you can use up to 2 Zombie monsters your opponent controls as the other materials. If a Zombie monster that was Special Summoned from the Extra Deck is sent to the GY while this card is in the GY you can set this card but banish it when it leaves the field.

 

Traps

You cannot Special Summon monsters during the turn you activate this card, other than Zombie monsters. If this card is activated you can discard a card and if you do activate and resolve the following effects in sequence, otherwise select and activate one of the following effects:

  • Target your “Plaguespreader Zombie” that is in your GY or is banished and Special Summon it.
  • Immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro or Link Summon a Zombie monster using a “Plaguespreader Zombie” you control as Material.

Surprised not to see any Xyz, to take advantage of Plaguespreader's main effect. Regardless, I really like your first three monsters. Plague-marked stands out a little, having a similar main effect but being extremely generic (a better Wulf). Am also surprised your Link doesn't allow you to return a banished card to the GY, so you can recycle the probably now banished Plaguespreader you used to Summon it. Still, what effects it does have is both very supportive, and gives you enough incentive to keep it out, so a good balance between a ladder and the one Link you need. Necrofear is pretty neat as well, if a bit samey, but Gilfer...oh Gilfer. Once per turn mini ATK loss, and a minor boost when you get rid of it...it's really not running in any shape or form.

 

Victims is cool, but I don't know why you would only mill 1 instead of 2. There'd be plenty of targets in the Deck for the second effect, and the first is always a boon; perhaps sending a few more and doing more effects based on the number of Zombies sent; that way it doesn't become a generic Token Summoner for Link decks. Is Plague Return meant to be 1 effect? You can only do targeting at activation, and the semicolons/colons indicate separate effects, which activate when the main one resolves. Regardless, a decent card...shame you have Mezuki, Monster Reborn and Monster Reborn Reborn as much better means of revivals. Would see some play for that second effect though.

 

Plague Rush is a decent card that is hampered by having to essentially wait 2 turns before you can use it, with even the setting effect working almost exclusively during your turn, preventing any means of using it without your opponent popping it or it being more of a hindrance than a help. Yes, it combos well with mutation...but the two cards only really work well with each other, meaning if you only open 1 it won't be amazingly effective. If only they were less specific, and more generic...or more "archetypal" than just support 1 monster.

Changed Rush to a Quick-Play Spell and buffed Gilfer. Also have another new Synchro for you. I need to work on the working on the rest of the stuff though.

If this card is Synchro Summoned you can target your Zombie monsters that are in your GY or are banished whose total levels equal 6 or less; Special Summon them. You can only activate this effect of "Plagued Spirit of the Pharaoh" once per turn.

Unsure where you made changes, but Gilfer is much better with the new effect. Only really works for combos, but that's all it has to work for anyway. Rush is much better, and while it can be very dangerous in Zombie World Decks, it needs both components to properly work in order to actually do much. Spirit of the Pharoah is a neat addition, and potentially something dangerous in Vendread Decks, considering the wide variety of their low-Level monsters. No particular combo comes to mind, with my lack of experience with Zombie Decks, but it could definitely be something.
