Card A

You can Ritual Summon this card with "Order Through the Wilderness". If this card is Ritual Summoned: You can Special Summon 2 Level 4 or lower Plant monsters with the same Level, but different names, from your Deck. Plant monsters you control are unaffected by the effects of your opponent's monsters.

This card is used to Ritual Summon "Eladderin, Mage of the Fey Forest". You must also tribute Plant monsters whose total Levels equal 4 or more from the field or your hand. During either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated that would negate the Summon of a monster: You can banish this card from your GY; that card or effect is negated, then destroy that card.

Card B

This card is also treated as a FIRE monster. During your Main Phase: You can discard 1 card; activate 1 of the following effects:
*Target 1 monster on the field, except this card; destroy that target, and if you do, inflict damage equal to half its ATK. If you control the targeted monster, it is treated as being destroyed by an opponent's card effect. You can only use this effect of "Wizard of Ice and Fire" once per turn.
*Target 1 Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls; destroy that target. You can only use this effect of "Wizard of Ice and Fire" once per turn.
If this card is destroyed by an opponent's card effect: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower FIRE or WATER monster from your Deck.

I had this saved, but apparently YCM deleted it. So...I guess abridged version.

Card A

Only Plant decks that are actually workable at the moment are Sylvans and Predaplants. There are generic Plants you can summon with this, like Lonefire and whatnot, so not specifically for those Decks. Though at the moment, I do have my concerns about the latter considering the Scorpio engine and whatever for them (iirc all cards in said thing are same Level but different names [L3 to be exact]). Protection is generally okay for them, but that's about it.

As far as the Ritual goes, what are you negating that isn't a Solemn Trap (which this can't) or is actually doable in this era (out of the stuff that does negate and can be chained to by this)? Stuff like Bottomless doesn't negate; just for clarification.

Card B

IDK, the first effect is the one that you'd use more often because of the removal/burn. I suppose it's cute enough to let you blow your own monsters up and treat it as the opponent doing it to trigger any effects on them or whatnot. Really not seeing a reason to use the second one as it's otherwise a worse MST (which doesn't have a discard cost, not hard OPT, can target your stuff too [though most cases, you aim for the opponent] and well, can trigger faster). Then again, if you did summon another copy of this card, you could just blow it up and summon another copy or whatever Level 4 FIRE/WATER you feel like running.

Honestly, I do feel that the discard cost could've been omitted here as you already have hard OPT on triggering their effects otherwise.

At the end of all this, I have to vote A (but marginally because it actually does stuff for Plants [albeit requiring some effort to trigger and do it]). I did mention the Predaplant thing, however that may be less of an issue than I wrote them out to be above and likely isn't going to be broken with this card.

With B, the first effect is fine and all, plus it can float if destroyed by an opponent's effect, but again, only the monster destruction effect is pulling any weight nowadays. Being dual-Attribute helps in some cases, but problem is trying to figure out a good Deck for this card (even by more casual standards).
