Credit to Draconus in 2014 for the original idea. 

 


 

The rules work essentially the same as the previous edition. 

 

  • Member lists archetypes they have made.
  • Next member makes 1 support card that helps them out.
  • Rinse and repeat. 

You do not have to list ALL of your archetypes, but do link to them [or just c/p them if off-site] so members don't have to go back through your archives to find stuff (especially if you've been here a long time and have other threads. YCM only shows the last 1,000 threads you made in My Content).

 

Also, be mindful that members may design legacy cards that will work for Master Rule 4 (and not necessarily MR3 for those who still design in this format). If this is the case or the support cards don't really fix any of the flaws / ruin flavor, etc, don't get upset at them.

 

Reminder that we are not you, and may not know every detail you had for said archetypes / design mentality.

 

 

Idea is if you can design stuff for other sets that aren't yours or Konami-oriented.

 


 

With this said, let's start off with my stuff. You have a few options to choose from; albeit some are literally unfinished or a few are oversaturated. Just pick one.

IMO would be a better format if the last poster leaves a prompt, similar to the other card-making games. That would push the thread to flow more smoothly by providing some focus and direction to the player.

 

Anyway:

 

Tau, Lieutenant of the Electric Field
EARTH/Thunder/Link/Effect
Rating: 2
Link Markers: bottom-left, bottom-center
ATK: 1800
2 Thunder monsters
If this card is Link Summoned: Take 1 "Electric Field" Spell/Trap from your Deck or GY, and either add it to your hand, or if it is a Quick-Play Spell, Set it. If you Set the card, it can be activated during this turn. If a card is discarded or banished for the effect of a Thunder monster: Target 1 face-up card on the field; banish it. You can only use each effect of "Tau, Lieutenant of the Electric Field" once per turn.

 

 

No prompt from me, pick another archetype from Sakura.

 

 

EDIT:

Oh, I noticed later that Electric Fields are pre-MR4. Meh, just adapt it as a Rank4 monster.

TRON Zoo Liger

lv 8 LIGHT

Beast/Fusion/Effect

"TRON Zoo Tiger" + 1+ "Tron Zoo" Monsters

Must be Fusion Summoned by sending the listed Fusion Materials you control to the GY (you do not use "Polymerization"). When this card is Fusion Summoned: you can destroy cards on your opponents side of the field up to the number of monsters used as Fusion Materials for this card. When this card attacks a defence position monster, inflict piercing battle damage. When this card would be destroyed by battle or by card effect, you can return this card to the Extra Deck instead and if you do, Special Summon "TRON Zoo" Monsters with different names including 1 "Tron Zoo Tiger" from your GY to your side of the field up to the number of Fusion Materials used for this card. You can only activate this effect of "Tron Zoo Liger" once per turn.

EARTH/Wyrm/Xyz/Effect
Rank: 4
1800/2200
2+ Level 4 "Link Order" monsters.
This card gains the effects of all "Link Order" monsters attached to it as Xyz Material, also it gains ATK and DEF equal to half of their total ATK and DEF. Once per turn, during your opponent's turn (Quick Effect): You can attach 1 "Link Order" monster from your hand or GY to this card.

Dova, Apprentice of the YCM Heavenly Sovereign

Level 4 | EARTH | Warrior | Effect

1500/1200

When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 "YCM Heavenly Sovereign" Ritual Monster and 1 "YCM Heavenly" Ritual Spell Card from your Deck or GY to your hand. If this card is Tributed to Ritual Summon a "YCM Heavenly Sovereign" monster: You can draw 1 card.

 

(Uh yeah, there you go. Also will be going into my AGM legacy support thing later. So Dova, there's your cameo appearance in there next to Draconus.)

 


 

So yeah, I guess you get a repeat of doing my stuff. Also a note that any of the Single to Archetype stuff I did in BatMed's game is also permissible (should be linked to, but may post them as their own thread later).

Raging Flame Sparks

Spell Card

Activate this card if you control "Raging Flame Sprite". Special Summon up to 2 "Raging Flame Sprite" from your Hand, Deck and/or GY to your side of the field, then, increase the ATK of all "Raging Flame Sprite" you control by 1000. You can only activate Raging Flame Sparks" once per turn.

Nettles Overgrow

Continuous Spell

You can target 1 card you control; destroy it, also Special Summon 1 "Nettles" from your Deck or GY. If a Plant monster you control is destroyed: You can target up to 2 "Nettles" monsters with different names in your GY; Special Summon them. You can only use 1 "Nettles Overgrow" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

Rating: 2
Link Markers: bottom-right, bottom-center

2 Plant monsters, including at least 1 "Nettles" Tuner monster

If this card is Link Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 2 or lower Plant monster from your hand or Deck. If this card is destroyed: You can Special Summon 1 Plant Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck. (This is treated as a Synchro Summon.) You can only use each effect of "Overwhelming Nettles" once per turn.

Levitelic Ruins - Ritual Piramid

Level 9

WIND/Rock/Ritual/Effect

This card can be Ritual summoned with "Levitelic Construction Techniques". You can only control 1 "Levitelic Ruins" card. Cannot be attacked. Once per turn, you can move this card to the Field Spell Zone to have it be treated as a Field Spell with this effect:

*Rock monsters are unaffected by card effects, except "Levitelic" cards' effects. All Rock monsters gain ATK equal to their level x100. Once per turn: you can normal summon another "Levitelic" monster in addition to your normal summon/set.

0 ATK/ 2900 DEF

 

 

Levitelic Construction Techniques

Ritual spell

Once per turn: you can Ritual Summon one "Levitelic" Ritual monster tributing monsters from your hand or field with a total of levels equal or higher to the one of the summoned monster. For this summoning you can use "Levitelic" cards in your Field Zone, but the summoned monster is placed in the Field Zone with its field spell effect activated instead.

You can only activate one "Levitelic Construction Techniques" only once per turn.

Eldritch Slime

DARK / Level 2 / Fiend / Tuner / Effect

 

If this card is sent to GY: Place 1 Infection Counter on opponent Monster. additionally, if this card is tributed as requirement to Ritual Summon an "Eldritch Overlord" Ritual Monster, Distribute Infection Counter on opponent card(s) equal to the Level of that Summoned Monster instead. If "Eldritch" Monster you control would be destroyed by card effect while this card in your GY: you can banish this card, instead.

 

ATK 0 / DEF 0

Targantuan Fusion

Normal Spell

Fusion Summon a monster using monster(s) your control or in your hand and card(s) that specifically listed in the Fusion monster's text from your Deck. Except the tun this card was sent to the GY, you can shuffle this card back into your Deck and if you do, Send 1 "Targantuan" card from your Deck to the GY.

 

I would love it if you added something to my "Damage Reptiles" archetype/theme

Well, it's more of a series, but I suppose I'll take a shot.

 

Apavitrnaaga, Cobra Deity of the Heavens

Level 8 | EARTH | Reptile | Effect

3000/2000

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned from your hand by Tributing 1 Reptile monster you control while you have inflicted at least 2000 damage to your opponent by a Reptile monster's effect(s). Effect damage Reptile monsters inflict to your opponent is doubled. Once per turn (Quick Effect), if a card or effect is activated: You can send 1 other Reptile monster you control to the GY; negate that card or effect, and if you do, banish it. 

 

(Name is derived from Hindi translation of "profane serpent")

 


 

You can pick one of the sets from the opening post, or find one of my prototype ones in the Single/Archetype game. For the latter, I'm going to try making a compilation thread with all of them so it's easier to search through as opposed to digging through several pages of posts for it.

Exarion Horizon

Continuous Spell

 

Active only while all monsters you control is "Exarion" Monsters. if this card is Activated, Draw 1 card for each "Exarion" Monster you control whose its ATK and/or DEF is less than its original ATK/DEF. You can only activated this effect of "Exarion Horizon" once per turn. Each "Exarion" Monster you control cannot be destroyed by battle twice per turn.

Cannot be use as Tribute or Material to summon non-Rock monster. If this card is Summoned or flipped face-up: add 1 non-Spell "Gol'm" Card from your Deck to your hand. While this card attached on non-effect Xyz Monster: You can Detach 1 Xyz Material from monster this card attach to; shuffle one face-up card your opponent controls into their deck . You must detach this card for this effect if this card is the Top-most Xyz Material on a Xyz Monster.

-If this card is not the Bottom-Most Xyz Material: all "Gol'm" Monsters' effects you control cannot be negated by opponent card effect.

Once per turn, you can activate 1 of the following effects. If this card was activated during the same turn it was Set, you can activate both effects in sequence:

●Special Summon this card as an Effect Monster (Fairy-Type/Level 4/EARTH/2000 ATK/0 DEF). If a "Serket" monster destroys your opponent's card by battle or card effect, you can Set 1 "Serket" Trap Card directly from your Graveyard.

You can only control 1 "Zealous Acolytes of Serket".

Immolancient Reincarnation

Normal Spell

Special Summon as many "Immolancient" monsters with different names from your GY, then take 800 damage for each monster Special Summoned by this effect. If an "Immolancient" monster you control is destroyed and sent to the GY: You can banish this card from your GY; Special Summon that monster, then your opponent takes damage equal to half that monster's ATK. You can only use each effect of "Immolancient Reincarnation" once per turn.

Psyshock Striker Pulse

Quick-Play Spell

Banish 1 "Psyshock Striker" monster from your Deck or GY, then add 1 "Psyshock Striker" monster from your Deck to your hand whose ATK is lower than the original ATK of the banished monster, also Special Summon the banished monster at the start of the next Standby Phase. While that monster is banished, if a Psychic monster you control battles an opponent's monster, the lower of the opponent's monster ATK or DEF is applied for damage calculation. You can only activate 1 "Psyshock Striker Pulse" per turn.

Allied Protocol

Normal Spell

Special Summon 1 Level 4 "Delzhark" monster from your hand, Graveyard, or from among your banished cards. If 2 of your opponent's cards leave the field simultaneously due to the effect of a "Delzhark" monster, you can banish this card from your Graveyard: Special Summon 1 "Delzhark" Xyz monster from your Graveyard or Extra Deck, and attach up to 2 cards from your opponent's Graveyard to the Summoned monster as Xyz Material, but banish those cards if they are detached from the Summoned monster (this is treated as an Xyz Summon).

 

Breatharrage! Note that, if you create the missing WIND "ammo" monster, ammo of a given Type share a floating effect: Aquas are Goukis, Pyros are Rokkets, and our one Thunder revives a thing.

Normal Trap
Activate this card by targeting 1 "Beastballer" monster in your GY; Special Summon it, and if you do, equip it with this card. During your Main Phase: You can send the equipped monster and this card to the GY, and if you do, Special Summon 1 monster from your hand, Deck or GY that is listed in the sent monster's text (this effect is treated as a Special Summon by the effect of the equipped monster). You can only activate 1 "Beastballer Homerun Bat" per turn.

Eh, just check my list on the 1st page on the thread. I'm not one to have my list of archetypes in my sig, and posting the list every time I post is awkward. And I would prefer if people surprised me instead of telling which archetype to support. If I wanted support for an specific archetype, I would make the support myself.
