While im thinking of my next smash bros archetype project, i thought of making another one based on the many type of warriors there has been throughout history such as knights, vikings, samurais archers pirates you name it. for now i had the idea to make most of them rank/level 3 warrior type monsters and made this 3 cards if any one has any suggestions to change or an idea for a card im open to hear about it.

Samurai: so it has pop 2 for any monster with 2000 or less. This effect seems strong by the number it can destroy but the dillema is 1) usually 2000less stat monster is already in GY for field building 2) the only scenario 2000-less monster is left out of field is either bad plays or it being boss monster its self and has protection againts destrution ready

Soldier: i will assume this at its finest only detach 2 because most XYZ plays even before Link Era can only afford 2 mat XYZ with exception of Rhongomyriad Deck. So with that at tops this only banish 2 cards which not really good

Knight: as i mention on soldier Xyz with mat requirement of 3 is way inefficient if not impossible to make in the first place. The mass summon doesnt really matter. Since instead of made this>mass summon>summon other member. Why just summon other member with this card mat instead

This are 3 new cards i wanted to add to the set. Horu Ishayuki thank you for the idea of squire, Dr. Jolly Glot the III thank you for the suggestions i´ll change the cards while trying to keep some of my ideas one question should the soldier banish more cards, banish them face down or just get a new effect all together?

What about the shogun? I know it's pretty much a cross between a samurai and a ninja but their armor does look cool in art. Also, I'd like to see what you can do as far as an effect for one.

In the future, put all of the cards in the main post so it's easier for us to view them (including the updated ones). So yeah, I'll assume that the ones in the following posts are the updated ones.

Archer is generally okay, except for the banish it if you don't draw a Level 4 Warrior or you get Strike'd.

Squire is fine, considering the need for summon power here.

Pirate King's detach/blow up backrow effect is fine, but not agreeing with its protection without materials (though I suppose that you do need to address Xyz getting shafted hard in the current generation). But yeah, you need to lower this guy's ATK a bit because even with the material restrictions, 2400 is high for a Rank 3 with a min of 2 materials. 2000-2100 should be fine.

Knight is okay, but its only real use is drawing cards. Much like Pirate, ATK should be lowered a bit to compensate for its lower material requirement.

Samurai is generally fine as it's basically Pirate but for monsters.

Ninja sets up for Link 2 stuff, so that's fine. Hopefully you know this by now, but Tokens CANNOT be used as Xyz Material.

Black Belt and Hunter are both okay, save for them being mild copy-paste of each other by effect. Only other gripe though is their ATK being a little high for Level 3s without drawbacks. 1600-1700 ATK is good enough.

Soldier is generally okay; yes, it can only banish up to 2 for the most part, but it's still going to banish stuff. Granted, there are Decks that don't care about their stuff being banished, but do whatever you need to. Power is an issue too, factoring in its no material effect, but just use the guidelines I mentioned for the other Xyz.
