Substitute Creature
[Normal Spell]

Add 1 monster from your Deck to your hand that specifically list "Fusion Material" and "substitute" in its card text, then you can add 1 "Polymerization" from your Deck or GY to your hand. You can only activate 1 "Substitute Creature" per turn.

[spoiler=Targets] There is a list of them in the middle of this page: http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Fusion_Substitute_Monster

To be honest, I think you could get away with not putting an OPT on this card, considering the targets for this card aren't worth using competitively. Though given the stuff that does exist nowadays, I suppose it is an necessity; least for the stuff that still have specific materials and prevent recycling bause. Then again, it's not like King of the Swamp is seeing much play at the moment as it too can grab Polymerization; suppose you could do something with it to an extent.

But then again, I guess Fluffals can tech this to get Patchwork and do their other things, so...suppose it works best for them (least until we get another "good" Fusion Deck by modern standards).

It is pretty much a Frightfur Patchwork for most decks that can Fusion Summon and could be seen as an engine. And Fusion substitutes aren't something that should be underestimated, IMO. I have vague memories of decks searching Versago with TGU to set up a play with Dark Calling and Malicious Edge; I think it was BAs but I forget which Leve6+ Fiend they accessed, unless it actually was Infernoids. Granted, that was more of a tech play but still, the potential of making it big, at the very least as meta or match-up call, was there. Point is, making Substitutes searchable may allow unforeseen power plays. Then again, Sheep became searchable again with the relatively recent errata on Rescue Cat. Admittedly, I'm now curious on what this card would be able to do.
