Guest BGMCANN0N
Draw Monitor[Continuous Trap]Once per turn, when your opponent draws a card(s), except during the Draw Phase: You can look at their hand, then discard 1 of their cards. Flash Flyer - Sakura
I'm not exactly certain how often draw effects are in the current game (if they're still as prevalent as they were in the ARC-V era or what), but they still exist as far as I know. Personally, I would've liked it if the effect was optional so the opponent can't bait you by drawing a card and forcing you to discard a card they want (you still have a choice, but in this instance, you're screwed either way), but you'll probably trigger it otherwise, so...it's a minor gripe. At least you still get to see your opponent's hand and know what's coming somewhat, so...the discard is somewhat an added bonus. Yeah, it's a Trap Card and vulnerable to getting sniped by MST and whatnot, but this applies to all Traps nowadays and just an inherent part of how stuff works now. Now to find a way to be dirty with this and Dark Law among other things...
宇佐見 蓮子@C94
why play this when you have mistake and shared ride lmao also sakura you just chain this card to engage/suprex/isolde/light stage and rip away their best card after resolution, that's like, the best thing this card does and it's still just worse than mistake (which flat out negates those cards) or shared ride (which lets you draw cards) so

But, I didn' t include adding cards in wording... So it could be seen as worse. Another thing to note is that unlike the other 2 this is a little more easier to combo with. For instance cards that force your opponent to draw like Contract with Don Thousand, Dark World Dealing, etc. I mean what can you do with Mistake other than floodgate, and Share Ride... well your opponent is mostly going to be in control of how much of they add. So in essence it is not really a fair comparison nor is it the best one

Triggers on drawing and not searching. Anyway, it's really obnoxious against a deck that draws regularly. It's Trap Dustshoot even if all you do is respond to the activation of a draw card (chain it to a Nessie or something), then against some decks it's a must-remove or else it becomes really nasty and basically negates any of their advantage. It's honestly cool design for a card but I'd be so annoyed if I saw this being revealed for real.
Darj
Looks fine to me but really match-up dependent, naturally. IDK if I would ever even side this since it would only hurt a handful of cards in a handful of decks. Then again, it depends of the meta. If, let's say, Dangers! and/or Dark Worlds take the lead in the meta, then of course this may be a meta call to consider. And even then... it being OPT doesn't help if the opponent can shrug the 1-card loss and keep on going with the draws.
