Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing a total of 2 "Data-Creation" monsters from your hand, field, or Graveyard. Once per turn, if there are 3 or more different types of monsters on your side of the field or in your GY (combined): you can banish 1 "Data-Creation" monster from your hand or GY; tribute any number of other monsters from your hand/field, then create and special summon from your main/extra deck 1 level/rank 4-9 ritual/synchro/xyz monster whose level/rank is less then or equal to the total level of those monsters that shares a monster type with a monsters you control or in your GY or banished zone as a ritual/;synchro/xyz summon and if you do that, any further damage your opponent takes this turn is halved, also  attach the top 2 cards of your GY to it as materials (if possible). Once per turn, at the start of your Standby Phase if this card is in your GY: You can discard 1 "Data-Creation' card; Special Summon this card.

Explanation of the "create" mechanic:

Its like making a token of an existing card, but the card stays in the duel once generated even if it leaves the field. The card is created in your main or extra deck depending on card type and then summoned, so the duel treats it as being summoned from your main or deck depending on card type.

For a more detailed explanation, one can compare it to Duel Link's "from outside your deck" wording as explained here:

When you Normal Summon a "Data-Creation" monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Data-Creation" monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Data-Creation Swordmistress" once per turn.

Once per turn: you can discard 1 "Data-Creation" card, then target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy that target and if you do, draw 1 card. If this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: Target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy that target. Once, if this card is in your GY during either player's Battle Step, while an attack is occurring: You can negate the attack.

The "once" for the attack negating effect is the same activation limit as the special summoning effect of:

Much like most "Wind-Up" monsters, the effect can only be used once until the card changes locations and then returns.

If only your opponent controls a monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the GY: You can Special Summon this card. You can only use this effect of "Data Creation Phoenix" once per turn. Once per turn, during your next Standby Phase after this card in your possession was sent to your GY by a card effect: Special Summon this card from the GY.

You can only use each effect of "Data-Creation Gunner" once per turn. If this card is Summoned: You can excavate the top 3 cards of your Deck. You can add 1 excavated “Data-Creation” card to your hand, also shuffle the other cards into the Deck. If this card on the field is destroyed: Draw 1 card. You can tribute 1 face-up "Data-Creation" monster; add 1 Cyberse monster from your deck or GY to your hand. While this card is face-up or in your GY, if you added a card to your hand with the immediately preceding effect of "Data-Creation Gunner" this turn: you can special summon 1 level/rank 4 or lower monster from your hand or GY, but its effects on the field cannot be activated.

"immediately preceding effect" refers to "You can tribute 1 face-up "Data-Creation" monster; add 1 Cyberse monster from your deck or GY to your hand." The intent was to set up Data Creator by adding it to your hand and then giving you something to tribute similar to how Cyberse Witch sets up Cyberse magician

If this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 6 or lower monster from your hand or banished zone but if its not a "Data-Creation" monster its effects are negated, also, after that, change this card to Defense Position. If this card is Special Summoned: Draw 1 card and if its a "Data-Creation" card, you can reveal it and draw 1 more card.

Draw 2 cards, then discard 1 "Data-Creation" card, or, if you do not have any in your hand, send your entire hand to the GY. You can banish both this card from your GY and 1 "Data-Creation" monster you control; add 1 Cyberse monster from your deck or GY to your hand and if you do, this card gains the following effect this turn while banished. ●Once per turn: you can special summon 1 level/rank 4 or lower monster from your GY, but its effects are negated.

Target a total of 3 cards (1 non-"Data-Creation" monster and 2 "Data-Creation" monsters with different names) in your GY and/or banished zone; Shuffle all 3 into the Deck, then draw 2 cards.

When an Effect Monster's effect activates: Shuffle 1 "Data-Creation" monster from your GY or banishsed zone into the deck; negate the activation and destroy it. If this Set card is destroyed by your opponent's card effect and sent to the GY: you can add 1 "Data-Creation" or Cyberse monster from your deck to your hand.

Note: Barring a conflicting ruling on an OCG/TCG counter trap, ""If this Set card is destroyed by your opponent's card effect and sent to the GY: you can add 1 "Data-Creation" or Cyberse monster from your deck to your hand." is a trigger effect and thus can be chained to by cards other then counter trap cards.
