was a post in the card workshop as a game where people would post cards expanding on the archetype but no one seems interested so i will post the cards for review. tell me what you think. link below if you want to give the game ago.

platinum dragon blue

lv: 1 attribute: light

type: dragon 

ATK: 500 DEF:500

effect: when this monster is normal summon all players discard a card, then you may search your deck for a monster with a level equal to or less then the combined levels of any monsters discarded among those cards and add that monster to your hand. 

 

platinum dragon red

lv: 1 attribute: light

type: dragon 

ATK: 500 DEF:500

effect: when this monster is normal summon all players discard a card, then you may destroy target face up monster with a level equal to or less then the combined levels of any monsters discarded among those cards. 

 

platinum dragon yellow

lv: 1 attribute: light

type: dragon 

ATK: 500 DEF:500

effect: when this monster is normal summon all players discard a card, then you may banish a number of cards on your opponent's field equal to the number of spells and traps that were discarded by this effect 

 

platinum dragon green

lv: 1 attribute: light

type: dragon 

ATK: 500 DEF:500

effect: when this monster is normal summon all players discard a card, then you may draw a number of cards equal to the number of spells and traps that were discarded by this effect.

The likely reason for people not doing this is probably the restrictions are too specific or after a while, there will be oversaturation / redundancy with members. Or the usual activity levels, which you have probably noticed if you pay enough attention.

 

In this case, the monsters are generally copy/paste, save for their trigger effects after the discard (which are also reliant on the opponent to be of any sort of major use). 

 

Blue is generally fine as a searcher, considering most Decks usually have monsters with same Level overall. So in this sense, you would still get stuff off if opponent doesn't discard a monster.

 

If Xyz and Links didn't exist, Red would be okay at best. Since those two Extra Deck types exist and do not have Levels, this card's destruction effect isn't as great. Yes, you can still pop things as necessary, but likely will be weaker Main Deck.

 

Yellow is a hit/miss card to be honest. While it's nice to have non-targeting banishing, either you have to ditch a Spell/Trap to do anything useful, or hope the opponent ditches one too so you can remove 2 cards. 

 

Green is in a similar spot, though draw power is always nice.

Also yeah, because you're forcing the opponent to discard, that will trigger any effects in the hand that go off when it happens (i.e. Dark Worlds, Danger!, etc) or any effects that go off in the GY. (You also lose a card too, so...unless this archetype/series gets any form of plays to work off the discard effects besides their current stuff, it won't help you.)

well the not paying attention to the forum activity is probably the main point as i come on and off the forums :) and i will take into account the ''restrictions are too specific'' thing as well. thanks for the review. i will see about completing the archetype me self for the future with the suggestions you mentioned. thank you

also do note i am not trying to be salty about things :) was just making this post for 2 reasons. 1st) i knew my defeat so i gave up on trying to continue that game and just brought the cards over to be reviewed but the 2nd) just in case anyone had an interest in the game i felt i would leave the link there.
