Favorite Disney films

Most of you know what my favorite one is by now if avi and other stuff aren't making it obvious. But if it isn't, then yeah, Zootopia by a long shot.

But besides Zootopia, probably following (in terms of stuff originally developed by Disney Studios):

  • Lilo & Stitch because Hawai'i pride (and having to learn the songs from it in Performing Arts; the main one I remember)
  • Lion King for classic reasons.
  • Moana for similar reasons to L/S, but expand it to Pacific culture in general. (Also because main character is from here)

To be fair though, I haven't watched the vast majority of Disney movies, so...this is a pretty limited field. I probably saw Winnie the Pooh ones, but either forgot which movies those were or I really didn't see it yet.

I'm the opposite of Thar, Mulan is my top and Hercules is a close second. I think Tarzan is up there as well, at the very least it has my favorite soundtrack because of the Phil Collins songs.

Also, if we're counting Pixar (though maybe not because then that means we can also count stuff like Marvel Studios as they're both subsidiaries of Disney, in which case these choices get a lot harder for me), Toy Story is probably my favorite movie trilogy of all time.

Hercules for me, if not just for the scene where the Titans break free.

Mulan is a close second, if not just for Shan Yu.

Well, I did say "favorites" as opposed to "Favorite" so you can post more Disney movies you really like.

As for me, for the computer generated ones I liked Big Hero 6 and The Incredibles. The Incredibles is, well, incredible. I love the different look at the heroes, Edna's amusing, Frozone's cool for more reasons than one. Just a fantastic film.

For the animated ones, Lilo and Stitch was a fun film. But my favorite animated film from Disney:

Fantastic film! I love Disney's take on the Chinese art style, all the characters are charming, and it has the ONLY Disney song that I look forward to listening to. What I don't like in most other Disney films are the music numbers where the characters sing. But this one I found great to listen to:
