[spoiler=Assimilating Arbor: Info]

Equip Spell Card

Lore: Special Summon 1 monster from your Deck with the same Level as the total Levels of all Plant monsters in your GY (min. 1) and equip it with this card. The equipped monster becomes a Plant monster, also it has its effects negated if it is not originally a Plant monster. If this card leaves the field, destroy that monster. You cannot activate other Spell Cards. You can only activate 1 "Assimilating Arbor" per turn.

Turn non-Plants into new plants via Doru-like GY checking.

Simple and awesome, but it negates stuff, destroys it if it leaves the field and has the Caveat of Abyss-Sphere upon it as well. Feel that this has some utility in first turn builds to help make boards easier. Other than that....

....SQUIRREL (or whatever that running thing in the art is.)

Reviews, revelry, you know the drill.

Potent, but also too risky. Can only be played well in decks with Plants of multiple Levels, since the Level must match the # of Plants in the GY. The only deck that comes to mind at the moment is... Sylvans, which aren't competitively relevant. Another approach is running it in decks that run plenty of low-Levels monsters and a handful of Plants like Glow-Up, Spore, so once either hits the GY, you will be able to grab any Level 1~2 monsters. Synchro Plants with monsters like Tuningware, if they still run it, come to mind. You can further resort to Lonefire Blossoms to modulate the count of Plants in the GY. Generic ED Plants can assist with that too, although at the moment there aren't many.

Overall a solid card that will be waiting for the right deck and/or format to shine, IMO. Negating the effect of non-Plants should keep it in check, and summoning Plants from the deck shouldn't be too overpowering considering Lonefire isn't breaking anything AFAIK.
