I also always picked Ephraim's route when I initially played Sacred Stones (that changed after a few years once I got annoyed enough by ghost ship) so this was a really easy decision. For as much as I like Sacred Stones, I'm not quite as attached to either of these two as much as some of the others. I prefer Eirika over Ephraim, and I've often found little point in using Marisa when Joshua is generally a better unit, plus her character doesn't quite interest me. I had no idea she was actually pretty popular before FEH taught me, but I'm not surprised. I like Eirika more than Ephraim, but Ephraim is still enjoyable.
