Marvel, not what I expected. I wasn't expecting the fact that she was basically taken from Earth to join the corps. It's definitely one of those things I wasn't technically expecting this to end up like a "alien abduction" film before she becomes Cpt. Marvel. Still, it's a pretty interesting concept in going that direction. That and I'm happy that we at least get to see Ronin again and that it's the same actor from the GotG. Simping For Hina Posted September 18, 2018 Report Share Posted September 18, 2018 I am kind of annoyed that we do not get to see any events between Infinity War and Avengers 4, even if Avengers 4 might grimace over the concept. There was so much build up to the Snap that we are left right in the middle without dealing with the consequences, and both of the movies that have come after Infinity War are all precluding to it without bringing light to the catastrophe that occurred. Aside from trailers because there's no way I can control myself enough to avoid the hype. So the fact she crashed into a Blockbuster as well as young Nick Fury makes it obvious that this is set in the past (looks like the 90s), I didn't realize that would be the case. So Fury calling for her at the end of IW was like calling in a favor from an old friend, then. Makes sense, too, because otherwise I'm not sure where he'd have found the time to get acquainted with her given all that's been going on with the other heroes in the modern day.
