Quick-Play Spell Card

 

Lore: Tribute 1 monster with 3000 or more ATK: your opponent sends 5 Spell Cards from their hand and/or Deck to the GY, and if they do, the effects of Spells with the same name as those cards cannot be activated this turn, except "Virus Launcher". If you Tributed a monster that was Special Summoned from the Deck or Extra Deck, your opponent must send 10 Spells from their hand and/or Deck to the GY, instead. You can only activate 1 "Virus Launcher" per turn.

 

 

 

Pity is, it took me three tries to try and get this effect right and recent at the same time. 

 

The effect is similar to the anime version of ol' Virus Cannon, and that maximum 10 Spell disposal is to make true usage of the "no more, no less" option. Not many Decks run that many Spells to make their stuff useful (Goukis and Altergeists most immediately come to mind-but those that do are going to feel it.) The goal here was to make something where the reward was so large, it became a cost all its own-essentially demanding 9 Spell-or-less plays to go against this.

 

Think I succeeded, but that's your choice on how the mission statement was met.
