Thomas★Zero Posted September 25, 2018 Report Share Posted September 25, 2018 Extreme Link Quick Play Spell Activate this card while you control a Link monster in the Extra monster zone and a non-Link monster in a zone that monster points to that was Special Summoned from the Extra Deck. Increase the ATK of the Link monster in the Extra monster zone and all monsters it points to equal to the number of monsters that Link monster points to x 1000 and monsters in the zone that Link monster points are unaffected by your opponents card effects until the End Phase this turn. Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to the activation of this card. You can only activate "Extreme Link" once per turn. In decks that use Multiple summoning mechanics Extreme Link works to boost the power of the Extra Zone Link Monster and all monsters in zones it points to by 1000 per monster in zones that Extra Zone Link points to while protecting the monsters in zones the Extra Zone Link points to which the highest gain would be 4000 ATK for cards like Skull Dread. In addition it also prevents your opponent from being able to counter this card based on its conditions of needing both a Link monster and a non-Link Extra Deck monster to be in a Zone it points to but is also balanced by being a hard OPT. The utility of this card can be played in multiple decks where the general ATK boost gain will be likely around 2000 for playing Link 2's with 2 Downward markers.
