This card gains the following effects depending on the number of Warrior monsters with different names in your GY.

* 2+: Increase this cards ATK by 100 for every Warrior monster with a different name in your GY.

* 4+: When this card destroys a monster by battle: you can target 1 card on your opponents side of the field, destroy the targeted card.

* 6+: At the start of the damage step, if this card battles an opponents monster: inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monsters original ATK.

* 8+: This card cannot be targeted or destroyed by card effects.

So Neostorm Avenger is a Link 4 Warrior Monster that gains effects based on all the different named Warriors in your GY. If this card manages to get up to 6 different names Warriors it 600 ATK, can destroy other cards on your opponents field when it destroys a monster and inflict damage to your opponent at the start of the damage step but when you get to 8 it also gains protection from targeting and destruction effects.

 

In various Warrior Decks like Gouki, HERO's and Six Samurai this card can be a powerful asset to the deck as a high ranking boss monster.
