[spoiler=Introduction]

Alright, I hope everyone's been paying attention because it's time for a pop quiz! I honestly have no idea what series of thoughts led me to want to make this hellspawn of a card, but at some point I just wondered how much more difficult the game would be if you pretty much couldn't look at your cards. Of course, it would be way too OP if it just straight-up made it impossible for them to look at their cards, but I feel like giving them the name should be good enough. So, how well do you actually know your own deck? >:)

Pop Quiz

Continuous Spell Card

Effect:

While this card remains face-up on the field, your opponent is not allowed to look at anything on any cards except for the card names. Every time they attempt to activate cards or effects that they cannot activate and/or that are not effects of their cards, don't activate effects that they are required to activate, use effects to do things that the effects aren't able to do, attempt to summon something that they cannot summon, or need to look at something on a card other than its name, place 1 Quiz Counter on this card. If they are caught lying about looking at something other than the card's name, place 5 Quiz Counters on this card. If 10 Quiz Counters are placed on this card, you win the duel.

that is pretty cool. the insanity belies the trust in your knowedge.

Yeah, and I was thinking of making a series of cards that would make it even more chaotic by having several different prints of the same card, with each print of that card having a different effect or set of effects.

(Well, not like erratas don't exist, especially some of them which are more than just rephrasing the effect to newer grammar...That in itself proves to be somewhat of a challenge, plus things pertaining to BKSS [because Konami said so])

But then again, now the opponent actually has to remember what their stuff does beforehand (I suppose the more simple effects make it somewhat easier, but still). Issue that would come up though is proving that the opponent is actually looking at the name only and not at the pics/effects, whatever.

(Then again, not like anime characters have the issues that opponent will likely face [no need to look])

Fair enough, hadn't thought of the eratas thing. And that thing about checking whether your opponent was looking or not did cross my mind. If this card ever did become a thing, it would probably become courtesy for anyone who uses it to provide pieces of paper or something for their opponent to cover cards with.
