So this Is a card that kinda just popped into my head earlier today, so yeah

Trap Card

Normal

When this card is activated, monsters cannot be Summoned. During the Battle Phase, if 2 monsters with the same Type are battling: Banish both of those monsters, then other monsters on the field gain ATK and DEF equal to the combined ATK and DEF of the banished monsters. The Battle Phase cannot end until all monsters on one player's field are destroyed. During the Battle Phase, all effects are negated, cards or effects cannot be activated. At the end of the Battle Phase: Special Summon the monsters banished by this effect, when this card is sent to graveyard, banish it after the battle phase

Let's clean up your card grammar since that usually helps people to understand how it works a lot better.

When this card is activated, monsters cannot be Summoned. During the Battle Phase, if 2 monsters with the same Type are battling: Banish both of those monsters, then other monsters on the field gain ATK/DEF equal to the combined ATK/DEF (you mean both or just ATK?) of the combined monsters. The Battle Phase cannot end until all monsters on one player's field are destroyed. During the Battle Phase, cards or effects cannot be activated. At the end of the Battle Phase: Special Summon the monsters banished by this effect, then banish this card.

I really have no clue as to why you decided to make this a Counter Trap aside from making it unable to be chained to Solemn Judgment or something. Then again, you can't summon a monster when a Counter Trap activates (well, unless the chaining Counter Trap can summon, however I've not heard of such a thing outside of that Parshath Trap).

Another thing is that once this card triggers and resolves its effect (which is the banish and power up), it will go to the GY; not stay on the field. If you intend for this card to banish itself afterwards, it must occur in the GY (though if it were already banished because of something like, say, Macro Cosmos or Dark Law already out on the field, it is already banished). Also, effect cannot work under Imperial Iron Wall, which prevent banishing.

While mirror matches do exist as enough of a trigger to play this, you are really only playing this if you have super powerful monsters compared to the opponent in this regard. Also note that given the wording, it won't stop things like Number 35, Neo-Parshath, Agent of Force - Mars or other stuff that modulate stats as a Continuous effect. To address this issue, you would have to negate effects on the field too, but that has other drawbacks.

Sure, it goes back to the old days of power Yugioh, but chances that you get to pull this off are extremely rare.
