[spoiler=Judge Man the Ascendant Absolver: Info]

LIGHT/Warrior-Type Effect Monster/Level 7/2700 ATK/2000 DEF

Lore: If the attack, Summon, or effect of a monster(s) you control is negated by a card or effect, when that effect resolves: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. Once per turn (Quick Effect: You can activate this effect, depending on the Phase this card in its owner's control was Summoned. You can only Summon "Judge Man the Ascendant Absolver(s)" once per turn.

• Main: Your opponent gains 1000 LP, also all monsters they currently control lose 1000 ATK/DEF.
• Battle: Banish the next attacking monster this turn, also you lose 1000 LP.
• Other: Inflict 1000 damage to your oppponent and you gain 1000 LP, also all damage either player would take for the rest of this turn is halved.

So, updated Judge Man, comes to the board upon negation, then serves to knock down the opponent by different ways depending on what Phase it was Summoned in. Two tiers of difficulty, but the effects do compensate for it, and they go off no matter HOW it gets on the board. Plus, Level 7 means Tomahawk shanaenaes.

Each effect works off 1000 pt. dividends, much like its DEF.

And c'mon look at that pic you honestly thought I would leave this be?

Till the next card, fellas, reviews, revelry, you know the drill.

BD'S, signing off.

I love how the effect absolutely matches the card (judged on when your opponent counters)

The effect is very balanced and creative which in my opinion is needed with an ignition effect like this one! The only thing I would change would be the atk and def of the original judge man. If its your opponents main phase and you pull the effect off they will need to get over effectively a 3700 beater that is a handy level 7 for synchro and xyz shenanigans next turn (I think lowering it to 2000, 1800 would make it more balanced.)

I do truely like the concept though!

8.5 / 10

I have mixed feelings towards the card. On one hand, it depends on an effect to Summon itself and as a Level7 it is normally expensive to Normal Summon, but on the other, effect negation is really common nowadays with Veiler, Transience, Called by the Grave, Ash vs. a monster, and deck/archetype negations so dropping it shouldn't be an issue However, then comes the effects. I don't find the MP effect good enough, while BP effect just discourages the opponent from attacking at all and can resort to deal with this monster through other ways before battling. If anything, the "other Phase" effect could come in handy vs. Trickstars, but you would have to open this + a negation card, and play around negating anything during the MPs or BP, good luck with that.

In short, IMO the effects could be a bit better, but IDK what to suggest that doesn't stray from your intended flavor.
