Metrogn Archetype

This is my first post here, and first time creating cards for yugioh, so I apologise in advance if I don't follow any rules / formating, or these cards are just terrible

 

EDIT: Welp I tried to add spoilers in, but no matter what I tried I couldn't work it out... I apologise if this breaks any rules, and if anyone can point me in a direction where I can find out how to use the spoilers, that would be appreciated. Sorry for the block of text

Many say that the card known as Metrognome is utterly useless. They are correct. However, I have created an archetype that aims to fix that, introducing: "Metrogn" (and the "Metro" spell cards)

 

This archetype is focused on attacking directly and manipulating the pendulum scale, as well as summoning Metrogn tokens and destroying them to activate effects.

 

The archetype (currently) consists of:

4 Fairy / EARTH Pendulum monsters (Including Metrognome)

4 Spellcaster / EARTH Effect monsters

2 Fairy / EARTH Extra Deck Monsters

2 Normal Spells

1 Quick Play Spell

1 Field Spell

 

Monsters:

 

Main Deck:

 

Metrognoblin

Pendulum / Fairy / EARTH

Level: 2

ATK / DEF: 900/800

Pendulum Scale: 1

Pendulum Effect:

Once per turn: You may reveal any number of "Metrogn" monsters or "Metro" spells in your hand, make the pendulum scale of this card and the card in your other pendulum zone be equal to the amount of cards revealed, if you do, special summon a monster from your deck with a level equal to the amount of cards revealed

Monster Effect:

(Quick Effect) Target one monster your opponent controls, destroy this card, then negate the selected card's effects (if any), and decrease its attack by the highest pendulum scale on the board x 100

 

Metrognobold

Pendulum / Fairy / EARTH

Level: 2

ATK / DEF: 800/900

Pendulum Effect:

Once per turn: You can reveal any number of "Metrogn" monsters or "Metro" spell cards in your hand, make the pendulum scale of this card and the card in your other pendulum zone be equal to the amount of cards revealed. If you do this, neither card can be destroyed by a card effect this turn

Monster Effect:

(Quick effect) Destroy this card. If your opponent controls any spell or trap cards, choose one, destroy it. If your opponent does not control any spell or trap cards, your opponent discards a random card

 

Metrognelf

Pendulum / Fairy / EARTH

Level: 4

ATK / DEF: 1600/1800

Pendulum Effect:

"Metrogn" cards on the field with a pendulum scale equal to this card's cannot be destroyed by card effects

Monster Effect:

Once per Turn: While you have 2 cards in your Pendulum Zones with the same pendulum scale, you can special summon 1 "Metrogn" monster from your deck or either Pendulum Zone, then send this card from your field to your hand

 

Metrogn Magician

Spellcaster / EARTH

Level: 2

ATK / DEF: 1800/1600

Monster Effect:

If this card is normal or special summoned, activate 1 of these effects:

● Add 1 "Metro" spell card from your deck to your hand

● Shuffle 2 "Metro" spell cards from your graveyard into your deck

You can only use one effect of Metrogn Magician per turn, and only once that turn

 

Metrogn Necromancer

Spellcaster / EARTH

Level: 2

ATK / DEF: 1600/1800

Monster Effect:

If this card is normal or special summoned, activate 1 of these effects:

● Special summon 1 "Metrogn" Pendulum monster from your deck, but it's effects are negated

● Add 1 "Metrogn" monster or 1 "Metro" spell card from your graveyard to your hand, except "Metrogn Necromancer"

You can only use one effect of Metrogn Necromancer per turn, and only once that turn

 

Metrogn Magi Blade

Spellcaster / EARTH

Level: 4

ATK / DEF: 1800/1600

Monster Effect:

When this card is normal or special summoned, target up to three face up "Metrogn" pendulum monsters in your extra deck, shuffle them into your deck, and if you do, your opponent takes 500 damage for each card

 

Metrogn Healer

Spellcaster / EARTH

Level: 4

ATK / DEF: 1600/1800

Monster Effect:

When this card is special summoned, target up to two face up "Metrogn" pendulum monsters in your extra deck, add them to your hand, and if you do your opponent gains 1000 LP

Link Effect:

This card gains an ability based on the pendulum scale of the highest pendulum scale "Metrogn" monster on the field:

● 0: Destroy this monster

● 1 or more: Once per turn: If a fairy monster you control would be destroyed by a battle or card effect, you can destroy 1 "Metrogn" monster from anywhere on the field instead.

● 5 or more: This monster can attack your opponent directly

● 10 or more: This monster's attack is doubled

 

Metrognogre

Xyz / Pendulum / Fairy / EARTH

Rank: 4

ATK / DEF: ?/?

Pendulum Effect:

Once per turn: You can destroy one "Metrogn" monster from either side of the field, destroy one card your opponent controls

Monster Effect:

2 level 4 effect monsters

This card's attack and defense are equal to the total pendulum scale of every "Metrogn" monster on the field. This card can attack your opponent directly. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, this turn, this card's ATK is doubled, but it can not attack your opponent directly. If this card has no Xyz Material, move it to one of your pendulum zones, if none are available, place this card face up on your extra deck. This face up card can be pendulum summoned from the extra deck, if you do, attach one "Metrogn" monster from the field to this monster 

 

Spells:

 

Metro Zone

Field Spell

Increase the Pendulum Scale of every "Metrogn" monster on the field by 1. Once per turn: You can target 1 "Metrogn" monster with ATK different from its original ATK, increase the Pendulum Scale of any monster on the field with the same name as that card by 3. Each time a monster(s) is pendulum summoned, or special summoned by the effect of a "Metro" spell, special summon "Metrogn" tokens (FAIRY/EARTH/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) to either side of the field equal to the amount of cards pendulum summoned. During the end phase, destroy 1 "Metrogn" token or destroy this card

 

Metro Change

Target 1 pendulum monster in either of your pendulum zones. Destroy it, then add 1 "Metrogn" monster from your deck to that pendulum zone. You can not pendulum summon monsters from your Extra Deck the turn you use this effect

 

Metro Magic Dice

Activate only when you have two monsters in your pendulum zones. Roll a six-sided die, then change the pendulum scales of two monsters in your pendulum zones to the result. You can destroy up to 3 "Metrogn" monsters on either side of the field, then decrease or increase the number rolled by the amount of monsters destroyed. Then special summon one Spellcaster "Metrogn" monsters from your deck in face up defense position

 

Metro Search Party

Quick Play Spell

Activate 1 of the following effects:

● Either add 1 "Metrogn" monster or 1 "Metro" spell card from your deck to your hand, except Metro Search Party

● Special summon 1 "Metrogn" monster from your hand

You can activate both of these effects once per turn, but only once each per turn
