Bruteboii
Invoker with Eyes of BlueLIGHT / Spellcaster / Link / Effect ATK/ 500 LINK-1 (Down)1 Level 1 LIGHT Tuner monsterWhen this card is Link Summoned; Reveal 1 "Mausoleum of White", or a card that specifically lists "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" in its text from your Deck; Add it to your hand, or if it is a monster card, you can Special Summon it. Once per turn: You can Fusion Summon 1 "Blue-Eyes" Fusion Monster by banishing Fusion Materials from your hand, field or GY. If this card is in your GY: You can shuffle this card and 3 banished Dragon monsters into your Deck; Special Summon 1 "Blue-Eyes" non-Effect monster from your GY. For the design of this card, overall, I just wanted to push the Fusions in the Deck, but thought having a 1 card access to the seldom used Mausoleum of White a throw in to help the deck bridge its two sides.A lot of text, but simply:Add a card OR Special Summon Maiden, Stone of Legend, Kaibaman (lol), Dragon Spirit of White or Solid DragonFusion SummonRecycle + White Dragon/Ultimate DragonI was going to land it with a hard OPT (as most cards do these card), but it got VERY cloggy when looking at a template, and tbh, I don't see putting this on the board over and over a good play, even with an add. Nothing really breaks it.I think it's funny that after all these cards, and the draw and search power it has, Blue-Eyes still lags behind. Maybe not having an OPT will actually give the deck a shot with some abuse, similar to Black Metal in Red-Eyes (not that the two decks are CLOSE to being a fair fight). MarshyK-XS
I really like the concept of this card however I think it is slightly overpowered! the first effect is fine although you can effectively add a resource and play it straight away which for a link 1 of a simple to summon blue eyes tuner monster easily done on the first turn. The second effect is really over powered for me and here is why: Protector with the eyes of blue -> special summon white stone of legend -> link into invoker with eyes of blue using white stone of legend as material-> special summon a blue eyes monster with invokers efffect -> add a blue eyes white dragon from your deck to your hand -> potentially summon another blue eyes monster using protector. from 2 cards you have 2 blue eyes monsters and a link monster available to fusion summon and do what you desire with them. The third effect I like to recycle resources back in but I feel you need to amend the second effect to keep the over all balence of what is a link 1 card here! I like the concept and once fixed would fit into any blue eyes deck! ~MK

My other thought is, sometimes decks can have a busted card effect, and still roll with it. End of the day, would putting 2 BEWD on board do anything today? That's the big thing with the game nowadays, 3K doesn't mean too much. 2 vanilla beaters isn't huge, and that's what would give this the edge. I do understand your point though. Protector is also pretty much the only card the helps this go off hard, and I think the fact the materials themselves aren't explosive helps. That aside, maybe amending it to only Special Summoning a Level 1 would be more balanced (even though that's literally the example here! :P ), rather than the option of Solid Dragon/White Dragon Spirit (which don't guarantee a BEWD on board, but pretty damn close), would be at least a bit more streamlined. I didn't think a simple add was strong enough for the Deck. The third effect, while banishing isn't huge, can happen, and this kinda helps close the loop on making Ultimate Dragon a bit more viable. That's great feedback, and I very much appreciate it.
