Fi the Pyrotechnician

A LINK-2 monster that focuses on co-linking, should you Link Summon it so it co-links, you get to destroy all non-co-linked monsters on the field. It also gains 1000 ATK while co-linked, and during the End Phase, you can finish off your turn by burning, as for each co-linked monster on the field, both players take 500 damage.

I know you just came back and all, but yeah, a bit under the word requirement for Advanced (and explaining). Just remember to write more in future, alright?

As far as my opinion on this card goes, I do have some concern about the destruction effect in the context of Knightmares (despite the hits) and basically is punishing players for not summoning Links / co-linking like such. The summon requirements aren't particularly hard to do though, yes, but given its arrows, suppose only way the effect triggers is if opponent summons something with Up arrow in EMZ you can summon to or you go the Extra Link route, which requires more. In a way, I suppose that it's not as abusable as opposed to having a side arrow somewhere, since it does hit everything (even yours). As far as the stat boost and burn effects go, I'm iffy on the stat gain (but idea is alright) and no real gripes about the burn damage except in the case of Extra Linking and such.

Just to clarify, the burn effect is supposed to trigger during each player's End Phase or only yours?

The whole idea of Knightmare is co-linking, so do I just gotta not make co-links a thing since they exist?

"During the End Phase" means in either player's End Phase, yeah.

You can still make co-linking a thing, but just take precautions to ensure that stuff doesn't end up being busted in conjunction with them / Firewall or whatever is known to abuse the mechanic. It would be nice to disregard Knightmare entirely for design, but we can't do that because they exist (barring Goblin right now).

But in that perspective, I don't think this card would be seeing too much use with them considering the summon requirements and being more of its own thing. I may be wrong though.
