[Written] Bamzuki

Not the early 2000 throw back you were expecting (for anyone bought up on CBBC you know you know!)

[spoiler=Name:]

Name: Bamzuki - to coinside with both gozuki and mezuki. ATK and DEF stats are the same.

[spoiler=bamzuki]

Bamzuki

EARTH / Zombie / Level 4

During your Main Phase, when a card or effect is activated that targets a Zombie monster on the field or in the GYs (Quick Effect): You can send this card from your hand to the GY; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card. You can only use this effect of "Bamzuki" once per turn. If your opponent controls a face-up monster in the Extra Monster Zone while this card is in your GY: You can send the top 2 cards of your Deck to the GY; banish this card, also return 1 of your banished Zombie monsters to your hand.

ATK 1700             DEF 800

EDIT: Thanks to Darj for the correct OCG amendment. much love brother!

[spoiler=Support]

Support: Zombie Archetype in general. Both Gozuki and Mezuki are staples in most zombie decks and I am sure this, if actually a card would be as well. Gozuki banishes cards for special sumons on entering the GY so this card has the capability to recycle the banished card and refueling the GY with hopefully more Zombie type cards. Ideal play -> return card banished by gozukis effect -> send 2 cards to the gy and hopefully ping another gozuki -> banish a zombie type monster and get another hand Special Summon off.

[spoiler=Main Effect]

Main Effect: Basically an improved effect veiler for zombie type monsters, at the cost of a card in hand it can negate and destory one effect per turn that targets a zombie type monster. as you can 'only use the effect of bamzuki' once per turn you wont be able to pop its secondary effect meaning you cant pull off to many durastic plays off of using it (I have tried to keep it balenced while creating a support that would ACTUALLY be used in zombie decks.)

Hope you guys like it/ think it would be a suitable staple.

It says when a Zombie is targeted, but where? Will it also protect Zombies targeted in the GY?

I can drop a text fix suggestion once you clarify this.

That aside, this looks fine. It's a Sauravis for Zombies, potentially more flexible if it covers the GY, and that already makes it a promising meta call vs. targeting-heavy decks such as Sky Strikers, and the GY effect is solid recovery that further gives it value despite its situational nature, plus it offers possible extra setup with the 2-card mill.

 Should have definately specified there!!!! thanks for pointing that out! yeah targetted in the gy would still trigger this effect if you could drop a text fix that would be awesome thanks mate still getting used to this OCG malarkey!

That was literally the approach I was going for so I am happy you thought of that!

Cheers for the reply brother

Alright, let's see what I can do for the text:

During your Main Phase, when a card or effect is activated that targets a Zombie monster on the field or in the GYs (Quick Effect): You can [assuming you don't want it to be mandatory] send this card from your hand to the GY; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card.

I wrote the condition for the firs effect more flexible by covering both players' fields and GYs, as a suggestion to work nicely with Zombie World.

On the last effect, I would like to have confirmed if the mill is effectively a cost and the banish an effect, or if you intended for it to be in a different way.

I really like that! could potentially shut down special summons from your opponent (didnt think to run this arround zombie world!)

I intended it to be a 'cost' to as you said aid potential combo to the effect!

Thanks for your help, effect updated and credited!
