Im back and this time is not a plant card!

Magical Lord of Time

LIGHT/level 7

Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be summoned by its own effect and cannot be Special Summoned in other way.

If a level 4 or lower monster is sent to you GY: You can Special Summon this card(From your hand or GY). During your Draw Phase: Discard 1 card; Draw 2 cards. During either players turn,(quick effect): if a monster declares an attack: You can negate that attack, and return that monster to its owner hand.

You can only use each effect of "Magical Lord of Time" once per turn.

ATK: 2300 / DEF: 1800

This card changes you normal draw, so if you dont have any card to discard, then you cannot draw at the start of your turn

just wanted to clarify that.

this card is pretty broken (yes I know you have the draw effect to stop it but you are effectively fuelling your gy and choosing what you want after 2 cards) To be special summoned after a level 4 or lower monster is sent to the GY makes it broken. theres no specification of being destroyed so you could literally use this in any deck! you could link summon, bang free level 6 monster with attack protection, field control and draw modifiation! (not even gonna specify how busted this thing will be with dark world as your activating the cost before gaining the draw effect.) I think there needs to be an amendment to just sent to the gy (i.e destroyed, hand, escavated etc)

I think each of these effects are powerful enough on their own let alone being sandwiched together and being able to be special summoned pretty much for free! I like the concept but it needs some restriction otherwise it is just broken

Oh sorry i messed up the summoning condition (it was a level 4 spellcaster) yet, i guess i'll need to remake it anyway. Thank you!

Text fix considering the condition needs a Level 4- Spellcaster, and it replaces the normal draw:

Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned by its own effect. If a level 4 or lower Spellcaster monster is sent to your GY: You can Special Summon this card from your hand or GY. (Quick Effect): When a monster declares an attack: You can negate the attack, then(?) return that monster to the hand.  During your Draw Phase, instead of conducting your normal draw: Discard 1 card, then draw 2 cards. You can only use each effect of "Magical Lord of Time" once per turn.

Suggesting a "then" in the attack negation because IDK i you can simultaneously negate the attack and remove the monster from the board.

Anyway, this does a bit too much, IMO. I'm fine with the discard 1-draw 2 replacement effect, and the OPT attack negation to make this card more durable, but is its ability to Summon itself from the GY what I find more concerning, since its summoning condition is so easy to fulfill. Remove it and it should be just fine.
