Intro

The Solar Sentinels are a group of FIRE Fairy Ritual monsters and their followers, FIRE monsters with various types. Their playstyle focuses on Ritual Summoning. The Ritual monsters all have Continuous Effects to represent the Sun's permanence, and an effect that triggers upon destruction to symbolize a star getting destructive when it's dying (going supernova or becoming a giant). The non-Ritual monsters (except one) becomes Equip Cards when they are sent to the GY for a Ritual Summon, i.e. "orbiting" the sun. 

 

There's no artwork, but imagine the Ritual monsters as angelic beings clad in warrior armors with red as the dominant color, and gold or white as contrast colors. The non-Ritual monsters are clad in religious ancient European fantasy garments.

Solar Sentinel Oracle

FIRE / Spellcaster / Level 3 / ATK 1200 / DEF 1600

 

You can send 1 monster from your hand or field to the GY; Add 1 "Solar Sentinel" Ritual Spell from your Deck to your hand. If this card is sent to the GY for a Ritual Summon: You can target 1 "Solar Sentinel" Ritual Monster you control; equip this card to it as an Equip Card with the following effect. You can only use each of the preceding effects of "Solar Sentinel Priestess" once per turn.
● If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you can destroy this card instead, and if you do, the monster this card was equipped to gains 300 ATK/DEF until the end of the turn.
 
Solar Sentinel Knight
FIRE / Warrior / Level 4 / ATK 1600 / DEF 1400
 
You can Tribute this card; Add 1 "Solar Sentinel" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Solar Sentinel Knight". If this card is sent to the GY for a Ritual Summon: You can target 1 "Solar Sentinel" Ritual Monster you control; equip this card to it as an Equip Card with the following effect. You can only use each effects of "Solar Sentinel Knight" once per turn.
● The equipped monster gains 500 ATK. You can send this card to the GY, then target 1 face-up monster on the field; destroy it.
 
Solar Sentinel Ritualist

FIRE / Spellcaster / Level 4 / ATK 1500 / DEF 1500

 

The activation of your "Solar Sentinel" Ritual Spells cannot be negated. When a "Solar Sentinel" Ritual Monster is Special Summoned, your opponent cannot activate Spell/Traps. If this card is sent to the GY for a Ritual Summon: You can target 1 "Solar Sentinel" Ritual Monster you control; equip this card to it as an Equip Card with the following effect. You can only use each of the preceding effects of "Solar Sentinel Ritualist" once per turn. 
● Once per turn: You can target 1 Special Summoned monster your opponent controls; it cannot activate its effects this turn while this card is face-up.
 
Solar Sentinel Chronicler
FIRE / Spellcaster / Level 3 / ATK 1300 / DEF 1500
 
You can target 1 "Solar Sentinel" Ritual Monster you control that is not equipped by an Equip Card, and 1 non-Ritual "Solar Sentinel" monster in your GY; apply that second target's effect that equips itself to a Ritual Monster, to that first target, but banish that non-Ritual Monster when it leaves the field. If this card is sent to the GY for a Ritual Summon: You can target 1 "Solar Sentinel" Ritual Monster you control; equip this card to it as an Equip Card with the following effect. You can only use each of the preceding effects of "Solar Sentinel Chronicler" once per turn.
● If the equipped monster destroys a monster by battle: You can send this card to the GY; draw 1 card.
 
Solar Sentinel's Everlasting Flame
FIRE / Fairy / Level 2 / ATK 800 / DEF 200
 
If a Fairy Ritual Monster that was Ritual Summoned using this card is destroyed by a card effect the turn it was Summoned, while this card is in your GY: You can banish this card from the GY; draw 1 card. You can only use 1 of the following "Solar Sentinel's Everlasting Flame" effects per turn, and only once that turn.
● If you Ritual Summon exactly 1 Level 8 or lower "Solar Sentinel" monster with a card effect that requires Tributes, this card can be used as the entire Tribute.
● You can banish 2 other FIRE monsters from your GY; Special Summon this card from your GY, but it cannot be used as a Link material this turn.

Solar Sentinel Ignition Chevalier
FIRE / Fairy / Ritual / Level 6 / ATK 2300 / DEF 1800
 
You can Ritual Summon this card with any "Solar Sentinel" Ritual Spell. Special Summoned monsters your opponent controls lose 300 ATK/DEF, and lose another 200 ATK/DEF if they were Summoned from the Extra Deck. If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate Spell/Traps and monster effects until the end of the Damage Step. If this Ritual Summoned card is destroyed by battle or card effect and sent to the GY: You can target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy it. You can only use this effect of "Solar Sentinel Ignition Chevalier" once per turn.
 
Solar Sentinel Radiance Paladin
FIRE / Fairy / Ritual / Level 7 / ATK 2600 / DEF 2200
 
You can Ritual Summon this card with any "Solar Sentinel" Ritual Spell. Each time your opponent draw a card(s), they must reveal 1 of those cards. You can only use each of the following "Solar Sentinel Radiance Paladin" effects once per turn.
● If a "Solar Sentinel" card you control would be destroyed or banished by a card effect, you can destroy this face-up card instead.
● If this Ritual Summoned card is destroyed by battle, or sent to the GY or banished by an opponent's card effect: You can target 1 Level 4 or lower "Solar Sentinel" monster in your GY; Special Summon that target.
 
Solar Sentinel Nova Master
FIRE / Fairy / Ritual / Level 8 / ATK 2700 / DEF 2400
 
You can Ritual Summon this card with any "Solar Sentinel" Ritual Spell. You can only control 1 "Solar Sentinel Nova Master." Each time your opponent Special Summons a monster(s), inflict 200 damage to them. You can only use each of the following effects of "Solar Sentinel Nova Master" once per turn.
● If this card is Ritual Summoned: You can target 1 card on the field; destroy it, and if you do, inflict 500 damage to its controller.
● If this Ritual Summoned card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can activate this effect; During the End Phase, add 1 Level 4 or lower "Solar Sentinel" monster, or 1 "Solar Sentinel" Ritual Spell, from your Deck to your hand.
 
Prominence Archlord, the Supreme Solar Sentinel
FIRE / Fairy / Ritual / Level 9 / ATK 2950 / DEF 2500
 
You can Special Summon this card with any "Solar Sentinel" Ritual Spell. Must be Ritual Summoned using at least 1 Ritual Summoned monster you control, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Cannot be targeted by, the effects of monsters your opponent controls with less ATK than this card's. You can only activate each of the following "Prominence Archlord, the Supreme Solar Sentinel" effects once per turn.
● When this card is Ritual Summoned: You can have all monsters your opponent controls lose 500 ATK, also after that, you can destroy 1 card on the field.
● When your opponent activates a Spell/Trap, or the effect of a monster that was Special Summoned from the Extra Deck (Quick Effect): You can shuffle 1 "Solar Sentinel" card from your hand or field into your Deck; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card.

Solar Sentinel's Oath

Ritual Spell

 

This card can be used to Ritual Summon any "Solar Sentinel" Ritual Monster. You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal or exceed the Level of the Ritual Monster you Ritual Summon. If you control no monsters, except the turn this card is sent to the GY: You can banish this card and 1 "Solar Sentinel" monster from your GY; Add 1 Level 4 or lower "Solar Sentinel" monster from your Deck to your hand, but you cannot use that monsters, or monsters with the same name, as a Link, Xyz, Synchro or Fusion material this turn. You can only use this effect of "Solar Sentinel's Oath" once per turn.

 

Solar Sentinel's Ignition

Normal Spell

 

This card can be used to Ritual Summon any Level 7 or lower "Solar Sentinel" Ritual Monster from your hand or Deck. You must also Tribute FIRE or LIGHT monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal or exceed the Level of the Ritual Monster you Ritual Summon. You can only activate 1 "Solar Sentinel's Ignition" per turn.

 

Solar Sentinel Nucleosynthesis

Ritual Spell

 

This card can be used to Ritual Summon any "Solar Sentinel" Ritual Monster from your hand or GY. You must also Tribute FIRE or LIGHT monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels exactly equal the Level of the Ritual Monster you Ritual Summon. If only your opponent controls a monster that was Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, you can also use 1 FIRE non-Ritual monster in your GY by banishing it. If you control no monsters: You can banish this card and 1 FIRE monster from your GY; add 1 "Solar Sentinel's Oath" from your Deck to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Solar Sentinel Nucleosynthesis" once per turn.

 

Celestial Eclipse

Normal Spell

 

Send 1 face-up "Solar Sentinel" card from your Spell/Trap Zone to the GY; Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Solar Sentinel" monster from your Deck, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of the turn, except FIRE monsters. You can only activate 1 "Celestial Eclipse" per turn.

 

 

 

 

I'm also planning a Field Spell and a couple Traps for them, but haven't gotten to them yet.
