Ambush Wall
[Normal Trap]
When a monster declares an attack: Immediately after this effect resolves, Tribute Summon a monster using a monster(s) that include the attacking monster as Tribute, and if you do, if the Tribute Summoned monster is a Normal Monster, draw 1 card for each monster Tributed.

A sweet clever gem, IMO. Removal through Tributing reminiscent of Stormforth and Soul Exchange, with less restrictions in exchange of being a trap. Evil and greedy me would suggest to add a condition to activate from the hand, but that may be too much. Or at the very least allow the effect to use both battling monsters as Tribute, that way you can declare attack on a monster with a smaller critter, and Tribute the opposing monster anyway.

Actually, having to use the attack target if 2 Tributes be required for what you are bringing out, I think that puts a bit too much control on your opponent's hand by having them direct what gets attacked.

I initially thought about having it activate from hand if to Summon a vanilla, but ultimately I opted for netting draws that would be much needed in that scenario, and keep the card more casual.... I understand as a normal trap (and a battle trap) it is not gonna be available soon enough.

I also thought about making it a "Monarch" card just for the searchability, but I'm not so sure about that either...

The way it works right now, for a 1 Tribute monster from your hand, you Tribute just the opponent's attacking monster. For a 2 Tribute monster (or 3 Tributes too), they come from your side but can be whatever you want, not just the monster that was attacked.

Still, it would be alright if it was activable from hand and could use the attacked monster, IMO. I mean, compare this with Evenly Matched and you will get an idea of how overshadowed this is: like Evenly, it cannot be used on Turn 1 because no Battle Phase, and unlike Evenly it requires you to have a Level 5+ monster to Tribute Summon, and if your deck has mostly Level7+ it requires more monsters on board, and thus more setup.

You could make it either a Monarch or Qlip Trap for the support, there should be little issue with that.

It CAN use the attacked monster. A second Tribute (if needed) can be the attacking and the attacked, but it doesn't need to be the attacked.

It also doesn't need you to have monsters on your side because a nuke (like a Raigeki for example)would make this card dead. So long as your Tribute Summon has the right number of Tributes, it's all fine.

You can also be the attacking one and Tribute your attacker to keep on attacking.

I'm confused. The way you wrote it won't let you use an opponent's monster unless it's the opponent's monster which does the attack. What I suggest is to allow the card to use an opponent's monster even when your monster is doing the attack.
