You can do this, right? (It's big)

When you see a robber in your house:
60% would silently call the police
25% would let them go
15% would grab the nearest weapon and beat the living daylights out of the robber
Who's in that 15%?

Yes, I can do that. In fact, I've done those before. Wasn't in my department, since I do more mechanical stuff, but it needed to be done and it wasn't too complicated, plus everything I needed to know was detailed in the work order.

What are your thoughts on SolidWorks?

What are your thoughts on SolidWorks?

I use Inventor for my current job and I used Solidworks for my last job, though the latter wasn't exclusively a CAD position like I'm in now. Though in terms of my thoughts on it, I keep hearing my co-workers comparing it to Inventor and how it's better and that Inventor got a lot of ideas for features from Solidworks. However I can't really say I like it more because I never used it that often to compare that much.

Lastly, about how much education and/or experience do you need to get an entry-level CAD job?

A lot of positions ask for at least two years of experience, but entry-level jobs only ask for general knowledge of the program rather than educational/professional use. Most companies ask for experience with 2D AutoCAD with 3D experience being a plus. Since every company does things differently, it's only fair that an entry level position doesn't require too much and you end up getting trained anyway.

is this loss?

Is this just fantasy?
