Guest BGMCANN0N
Monsoon ConcodourWATER✪✪✪✪ (Level 4)[Winged-Beast/Effect]ATK/ 1600 DEF/ 1800(Quick Effect): You can send this card from your hand to the GY; this turn, apply 1 of these effects. You cannot destroy cards you own with your own card effects. Your opponent cannot destroy cards they own with their own card effects. [spoiler=Concept and Wordplay]So it is based off of the Umbrellabird. Now why this of all things? Well because this card would indirectly be related to Torrential Tribute ( Further explanation here... Go on hover over here. ) in correlation with its effect.Wordplay: [ (Monsoon) + (Condor - "r") ] + "co" + (Pompadour - "Pompado") = Triple Entendre + Portmanteau [spoiler=Intent]To make a hand trap that can not only stun self-destruction reliant Decks... It can protect your stuff from potential maintenance self-destruction effects, and other things like your own Torrential Tribute and Dark Hole. Yeah... Borderline gimmicky, but that is what I am going for.
Dova
Cards they....own? Wow, imagine using this when True Dracos were a thing. Even Kozmo and Fire Kings would struggle. Dark Hole and Torrential Tribute interaction is neat, and I think this would be played both for and against the Decks where you would want to destroy your own cards, so that when you have these blanket removals, you get the choice as to whether you want to further your plays or keep your beasters. Some of these cards could really go in Advanced, although tbf the line is currently really blurry between it and Casual. Darj
Indeed, this looks like it could be relevant enough to be moved to Advanced. It doesn't need it but you could improve the effect a bit by making it activable from the field as well (e.g. Snow Rabbit). That way it could be funny when searched by Swallow's Nest.
