Card of Spirit

Normal Spell

-You can only activate 1 card with this card name per turn.

(1) Each player chooses 1 card from their Deck, then chooses 4 random cards from their opponent's Deck, then randomly shows 1 of the 5 cards from their Deck to add to their hand, also shuffles the rest back into their Deck.

Search anything but with 1/5 chance to get what you want eh? If the deck is capable of multiple engines/adder i think this is not really that bad as each engine/adder you run can potentially serve as another accidental yet desirable outcome. Otherwise its "One day of Peace" without the Damage Drawback

Pretty much any deck can run it, and if you run multiple cards that start the engine (as you'd damn well better be) then you have a massive shot at getting whatever you need immediately. I like it. it's janky enough to make things fun, but powerful enough to warrant running seriously.

I'm confused. Does it let you shuffle your opponent's cards into your deck?

i dont think so, the 4 cards you opponent choose is to be added to the your "drawing pool" in addition to the card you pick so each player holding their own cards in their pool after the effect resolved you simply shuffle your pool (thus your cards) back to your Deck

So in short; each player adds 1 random card from their deck to their hand.

Gotta say, this might have upstart levels of splashability to it.

This card reminds me of Gift Exchange. Granted, this is more random than Gift Exchange, but still just the chance of you getting an opponent's card as opposed to the one you put in. And just like Gift Exchange, it could ensue some fun or silly plays. In fact, I'd argue it's better than Gift Exchange. Sure, you have less of an idea of what you're getting, but at least you don't have to wait until the end of your turn to get your card.

one day of peace is generic draw with damage immunity for a turn, mostly used as a stall card when you can't put out the otk/counterplay immediately. This has more similarities to painful choice than one day of peace, as it makes you choose multiple cards from deck, and makes your opponent choose what card to give you. It just doesn't create the absolutely broken situation of sending 4 additional cards to grave (and it works for the opponent, but compromise must be made).
