During your Main Phase: you can banish 2 Tuner monsters from your GY; Special Summon 1 "Red Nova Dragon" or "Red Dragon Archfiend" Synchro monster from your Extra Deck to a zone this card points to. During the turn you activated this effect, you cannot summon monsters from your Extra Deck except DARK Dragon monsters and the summoned monster cannot attack directly. you can only activate this effect of "Red Dragon Archfiend of Dominion" once per turn. If this card attacks a Defence Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage. ATK/3000 LINK-3 So RDA of Dominion is a powerful Link 3 that can bring a alternate version of itself from the Extra Deck by banishing 2 Tuner monsters from your graveyard where this allows you to summon things like Red Nova, King Calamity and Abyss where its balanced by locking you into Dark Dragons and prevents the summoned monster from being able to attack directly that turn. In addition to add to this it also can inflict piercing damage so it has something going for itself aside from summoning alternate RDA's.
