[spoiler=Extra Veiler]Extra Veiler Level 2 / Light / Spellcaster / Effect 600 attack / 200 defense When your opponent Special Summons a monster(s), except during the Damage Step: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, your opponent takes any effect damage you would have taken from their card effects this turn, instead. The card seems like a neat way to block effect damage, while also having the possibility to inflict some damage to your opponent as well. It would be a neat way to prevent FTKs, since the effect to prevent you from taking damage and it's special summon effect apply at the same time ( when it's special summoned by it's effect, it's effect automatically applies without starting a new chain ), so even if your opponent removed the card, you would still be protected for the turn. This card seems like it could be a funky side deck tech for a format involving a lot of FTKs. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
TF2_The_Scout Posted March 17, 2019 Report Share Posted March 17, 2019 I would just like to point out that it only prevents effect damage, so it could maybe work against Trickstars trying to be a burn deck, but I’m pretty sure that’s the non-optimal build.
