Purple-Eyes Shining Darkness Dragon

Light

Dragon/Effect

Lv12

4200/3500

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Can only be Special Summoned from your hand by Tributing 1 face-up "Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon" and 1 face-up "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon" you control.

This card gains 600 ATK for each Dragon monster in your GY.

If a Dragon monster(s) you control would be affected by an effect controlled by your opponent: That effect is negated.

Once per turn, during your Main Phase: You can discard 1 Dragon monster from your hand; Special Summon as many Dragon monsters from your GY as possible whose Level is lower than the Level of the discarded Dragon monster.

Ok. So this card proves to be worth the effort as it gives you an instant 8400 ATK monster that provides a blanket of protection for your dragons and even has potential to summon all 3 god cards within the span of 2 turns after it would be summoned. Also, this card ultimately shuts down cards like Dragon Capture Jar and Swords of Revealing Light by outright negating their effects because they would affect a dragon. So hopefully you guys like this card and maybe you can tell me how you'd get this beast out within your first few turns.

Edit: Card is now Nomi and insures you can't cheat your way to it. You are required to tribute BESD and REDD to summon it.so 7 dragons down the drain to summon it. But remember, the vast majority of Blue-Eyes support isn't protected by this. So mixing the 2 decks could hinder Red-Eyes.

Adding from the previous suggestions, negating an effect that would affect a dragon is somewhat subjective. Red eyes drakness metal dragon was banned (in the OCG) for being able to summon just 1 dragon, this card summons many (potentially) and if anything should be 100% hard OPT, and it doesnt specify form where it summons the dragons

Thanks for pointing that out. I missed that detail on the summon. I also gotta follow the advice of making it a Nomi so it can't be summoned via other means.

I wanted a sort of all powerful dragon that gave a total blanket of protection. Also, this card is meant to be a little broken since the odds of actually needing to summon it would be extremely low. Think about it like this, if you run Darkness Dragon in a deck, what are the odds that you'll actually need to summon it (considering the mass of support for REBD) and the same goes for Shining Dragon (which requires dropping 4 dragons for it's summon). This card in total requires that you drop a minimum of 7 dragons. So being somewhat godlike for the price of 7 level 7+ dragons seems fair and the effect suits the price.
