The first 6 generic Attribute Links should have come out together in the debut expansions of the Link era....
Same thing I think about the Charmer retrains.

I've been expecting them, but they are stretching them up apart as much as they can. The card isn't really all that good now but it could have been earlier.

Why do they keep making these garbage situational links?

Sorry there. The answer is me.... it's for fanbase like me xD
Charmers are filler but it's some of the filler I'm looking forward to.

Hiita is actually seeing meta use thanks to salamangreats and ash blossom. Stealing a monster from the opponent's grave for free, with zero conditions applied to whomever is summoned is pretty damn good. The attribute is the only real restriction to said monsters, and they also float upon death. compared to the general cyberse stuff, these are pretty good.

The other ones are likely to end up working along the same lines as Hiita, far as the meta goes. Fading in and out as time goes on. My bet is that Auusa and aria will see the most use (Not counting the light and dark ones, if they're the same effect, as light and dark are absurdly well supported).

They'll definitely make all the Attributes, but that'll be deliberately after they could have had competitive viability, if history repeats itself that is.

The original Charmers came by in "Lost Millennium" AKA the last set before CyDra came out and ended the Goat Control days, so FLIPs were still viable, but if only LIGHT and DARK Charmers had been around in time. Then they gave us the DARK Charmer right after they made sure TeleDAD was out of the picture. After that they gave us the LIGHT Charmer after Lightsworn's power had diminished in the meta.

Sometimes Konami likes giving us cards that could have been good alternatives, and intentionally has them dodge their would-be prime.

These Generic Attribute Links have more or less been that so far. Missus and Wee Witch are good, but I bet they aren't the best possible choices to use nowadays.

I actually expected the EARTH Charmer to have a Link next. Wynn and Eria had enough spotlight with all the DT storyline and whatnot, and they finally started with Hiita so I thought Aussa was coming up next..... IDK.

You can steal droll with wynn, but that's about the only thing that may be in multiple decks. for the time being, wynn is not going to be all that relevant. a few formats back you could have stolen Chrystal wing, the wind True king/true draco, stardust, castel. ect. with an effect like this, but not enough people drop those on boards right now. There'll be more than enough when the next deck with a decent wind monster drops though. the effect itself is pretty great, but it's just not the right time yet..
