Dainsleif
Now, a bit of contex before going into the monsters. After watching Rata's LOTW Genex, I noted that part of the problem with R-Genex is the difficulty of quickly getting out their Synchro monsters(aside from the obvious Recycled + Machine Dupe), as well as Locomotion R-Genex not being all that useful at the moment thanks to the prevalence of XYZ and Link monsters. And thus we come to the newcomers, meant partially to help R-Genex and partially for some lore. R-Genex Core Dark 3 stars Machine/Effect If you control no monsters, you can special summon this card from your hand. This card's name is treated as "Genex Controller" while on the field. 1400/1200 Really simple effect here. Just giving Genex more speed while still being able to bring out their best monsters. Visually it would look like an upgraded Controller(since, you know, it basically is). Conversion R-Genex Light 4 Stars Machine/Synchro/Effect 1 "Genex Controller" + 1 or more non-tuner monsters Once per turn, you can send any number of cards from the top of your deck to your GY, if you do, change this card's attribute to one of your choice, and make this card's level equal to the number of cards sent. If this card is used for the summoning of a "Genex" Synchro monster (Quick Effect): you can banish all materials used for that Synchro summons, and if you do, treat all XYZ monsters as having a level equal to their rank and treat all Link monsters as having a level equal to their Link Rating x 3. 1500/1500 So, yeah. Basically gives you access to any Genex Synchro monster(for the low cost of self-milling) and makes it somewhat worth-while to summon Locomotion every now and again if your opponent has a big Link monster on the field or you are facing Trains. On the flip side, while the second effect isn't once per turn, there really isn't much reason for it to be other than redundancy. Also, visually this thing would look like a prototype version of Genex Ally Triarm/Triforce. Recycle R-Genex Earth Link 1 (One down) 1 "Genex" monster When this card is Link summoned, you can send one card from you hand to the GY, if you do, special summon 1 "Genex" monster from your Graveyard to this card's link zone. If this card is sent to the GY for the summon of a "Genex" monster, you can banish it from the GY, and if you do, special summon 1 "Genex" monster from your GY. You can only use each effect of "Recycle R-Genex" once per turn. 500 Yup, graveyard plays in Genex. Helps with "recycling" cards like Core or Controller. Not much else to it I'm afraid. Manufacture R-Genex Earth Link 2(bottom corners) 2 "Genex" monsters When this card is Link summoned, you can add one "Genex" tuner monster from your deck to your hand. If a "Genex" Synchro monster is summoned to this card's link zone, you can special summon 1 "Genex" tuner monster from your hand. You can only use these effects once per turn. "Genex" Synchro monsters this card points to are unaffected by enemy card effects. 1500 So, yeah. More turbo'ing for Genex Synchros and some effect protection. Not bad, but not great either. Also, it and Recycle R-Genex are very similar visually, just R-Genex Core plugged into an automated assembly line and a smelter respectively.
