Wraith Archetype - Ritual + Flip monsters [WRITTEN]

Hello, fine peoples!

I thought of this in bits and pieces over the past couple days.  Originally, I wanted to design a Ritual deck without any Ritual Spells, but then it kinda morphed into this madness.  Each monster has a lot of text, however, all of them have the same first effect (which lets them ritual summon each other face-down).  You can just read the flip effect and the "if this card is tributed" effects.

The cards themselves have quite a bit of flavor behind them, but without further ado I present the Wraiths!

[spoiler=Monsters]

Wraith of the Wasteland

EARTH *****

Fiend/Ritual/Flip/Effect

You can Ritual Summon this card using any "Wraith" card.  You can reveal this card in your hand or this Set card you control: Ritual Summon 1 other "Wraith" monster from your hand in face-down defense position.  You must also Tribute 1 Level 5 monster from your hand or field.

FLIP: Unaffected by card effects until the End Phase.  Double this card's ATK/DEF.

If this card if Tributed: You can discard 1 "Wraith" card; draw 2 cards.  You can only use each effect of this card's name once per turn.

[spoiler=Spells/Traps]
Wraith's Anti-Realm

Field Spell

All monsters on the field (except "Wraith" monsters) lose 200 ATK/DEF.  At the start of the Battle Phase, if all the monsters you control are Set, you can choose your opponent's attack targets.  (Quick Effect): You can Tribute 1 monster you control or in your hand and target 1 monster you control; Set that target.

Wraith's Summoning

Ritual Spell

This card can be used to Ritual Summon any "Wraith" Ritual Monster.  Tribute 1 "Wraith" monster from your Deck, then Ritual Summon 1 "Wraith" Ritual Monster from your hand in face-down defense position.  If a "Wraith" monster would be destroyed by battle, you can banish this card from your GY instead.  You can only activate 1 "Wraith's Summoning" per turn.

Wraith's Scythe

Continuous Trap

When this card is activated: You can add 1 "Wraith" monster from your Deck to your hand.  If a "Wraith" monster is flipped face-up, you can target 1 card your opponent controls: Send that target to the GY.  You can banish this card from your GY and target 1 Set monster you control; that target cannot be destroyed by battle this turn.

[spoiler=Flavor Stuff]

  • While I wanted to keep an even 4000 ATK/DEF total, a majority of the rest of the design of the monsters are based on the card "Reaper of the Cards", from their odd statlines, to the fact they are FLIP monsters with removal-based effects.
  • Each card's name is supposed to reference those original field spells (Mountain, Yami, Sogen, Umi, and Wasteland).  Wraith of Darkness has the closest effect/statline to Reaper of the Cards because of its relation to the Yami field (as a reference to the show).
  • The field spell I made, not out of necessity, but because of flavor.  Whereas the locations in the names of the monsters are where the Wraiths operate, the field spell shows that they "live" outside the realm of where things exist.  I also purposefully made it work on all monsters to relate back to those original field spells.

[spoiler=Other Design Stuff]

  • Surprisingly, there aren't a ton of things that affect face-down monsters specifically (or even generally).  A lot of cards tend to target face-up monsters, so I opted not to provide much/any protection while they're face-down and instead focused on battle protection.

Thanks for the look-through!  As always, CnC much appreciated.

Cheers!
