Deck Build Pack- Continental Masters

inspired by Ultimagamer's card set (you should go check it out btw) I decided to make my own Set, Deck Build Pack, Continental Masters. its tag line would be "The lords of earth begin to rumble again, burn your enemies to a cinder with these new monsters!"

as always C+C is very much appreciated.


Now for the individual archetypes in the pack


[spoiler= Archetype Review]

[spoiler=Contitans]

Contitans are an archetype of monsters based on the 7 continents of earth. each monster in the archetype is a level 4 Earth Rock monster whose effect revolve around either being next to or having no other "Contitan" monsters next to its self. this mechanic was chosen as a way to best mimc the idea of moving land masses. the other archetypal gimmick lies with the spell and trap cards. each card has a second effect that only activates if certain "Contitan" monsters are on the field in certain arrangements.

 

[spoiler=Horus]

the "Retrain" archetype of this set is "Horus" (Horus of the Black Flame Dragon). The main idea with the support from this set is all about "LV" monster(s) and "Horus" specific support. the new retrained "Horus LV" monsters help to give the deck a new strategy while still allowing you to play the old monsters.

 

[spoiler=Beast Girl]

The Beast Girl archetype is a play on the phrase "best girl" while also infusing the archetype with modeling and high fashion aesthetics. their gimmick revolves around Special Summoning each other from the hand in order to control your opponent's field to create easier game states to manage.

When this card is Normal Summoned, add 1 “Contitan” monster from your Deck to your hand. If this card is adjacent to a “Contitan” monster with a different name, “Contitan” monster(s) cannot be destroyed once per turn. If there are no adjacent “Contitan” monster(s) to this card, you can Special Summon 1 “Contitan” monster from your Deck to an adjacent monster zone also you cannot Special Summon monster(s) except Rock monster(s) until the end of the turn.you can only activate the 1st and 3rd effect of “Contitan - Nacirema” once per turn.

If there are no adjacent “Contitan” monster(s) to this card, you can Special Summon 1 “Contitan” with a different name from your GY also you cannot Special Summon monster(s) except Rock monster(s) until the end of this turn. You can only activate each effect of “Contitan - Sacirema” once per turn.

If there are no adjacent “Contitan” monster(s) to this card, you can send 1 “Contitan” monster from your Deck to your GY. You can only activate each effect of “Contitan - Aisa” once per turn.

If this card is adjacent to a “Contitan” monster with a different name, if a “Contitan” monster battles a monster, before the damage step destroy that monster. If there are no “Contitan” monster(s) adjacent to this card, you can Special Summon 1 “Contitan” monster from your hand. You can only activate either effect of “Contitan - Eporue” once per turn.

If you control 2 or more “Contitan” monster(s) that are in adjacent monster zones, you can send 1 of those monster(s) to the GY and if you do Special Summon this card to that zone. When this card is Summoned to a zone adjacent to another “Contitan” monster, you can negate the effect of cards on the field until the end of the turn equal to the number of “Contitan” monster(s) you control with a different name. If there are no adjacent “Contitan” monsters to this card, halve the ATK and DEF of all monster(s) your opponent controls. You can only activate each effect of “Contitan - Acrifa” once per turn.

Contitan - Acitratna

EARTH | Level 4 | Rock | Effect

If a “Contitan” monster that was adjacent to a “Contitan” monster with a different name is sent from the field to the GY, you can Special Summon this card from your hand or GY to that zone also you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of the turn except Eock monsters. You can only use this effect of “Contitan - Acitratna” from the GY once per turn. If there is a “Contitan” monster in an adjacent monster zone to this card, “Contitan” monster(s) cannot be used as tribute. If there are no adjacent “Contitan” monsters to this card, you discard 1 card, draw 1 card. You can only activate each effect of “Contitan - Acitratna” once per turn.

Continental Shift

Normal Spell

Add 1 “Conti-“ card from your Deck to your hand and if you control a “Contitan” monster you can move it to an adjacent monster zone. If “Contitan - Acitratna” is in a zone with no adjacent “Contitan” monster(s) You can Special Summon that monster instead. You can only activate “Continental Shift” once per turn.


Continental Formation

Normal Spell

If you control no monster(s), you can Special Summon 2 “Contitan” monster(s) from your Deck to adjacent monster zones and if you do pay 2000 life points also you cannot Special Summon monster(s) except Rock monster(s) until the end of the turn. If “Contitan - Nacirema” and “Contitan - Sacirema” are in adjacent monster zones when this card’s Effect resolves, you can also destroy up to 2 cards. You can only activate “Continental Formation” once per turn.

If a “Contitan” monster(s) would be destroyed by a card effect, you can negate that effect and if you do destroy that card also move 1 “Contitan” monster to an adjacent monster zone. If “Contitan - Aisa” and “Contitan - Ainaeco” are in adjacent monster zones, you can activate this card from the hand. You can only activate “Continental Rupture” once per turn.


Continental Rebirth

Continuous Trap

You can target 1 “Contitan” monster that is banished or in the GY, Special Summon that card to a zone with no adjacent “Contitan” monster(s). If “Contitan - Eporue” and “Contitan - Acrifa” you control are in adjacent monster zones, you can activate this card the turn it was set. You can only activate each effect of “Continental Rebirth” once per turn.

This card is unaffected by Spell cards. If a card your opponent controls is destroyed (by battle or by card effect), you can send this card to the GY and if you do Special Summon 1 “Horus of the black Sun Dragon LV^” from your Deck. You can only activate each effect of “Horus the Black Sun Dragon LV4” once per turn.

If you control no monster(s) and your opponent controls and level 5 or higher monster or a monster without a Level, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is Summoned, you can add 1 “Horus” monster from your Deck to your hand also if this card was Special Summoned by the effect of a different “Horus” monster, you can Destroy 1 card on the field. This card is unaffected by Spell cards. If a card your opponent controls is destroyed (by battle or by card effect), you can send this card to the GY and if you do Special Summon 1 “Horus the Black Sun Dragon LV8” From your hand, Deck or GY. You can only activate each effect of “Horus the Black Sun Dragon LV6” once per turn.

This card cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. You must first Special Summon this card (from the hand) by the effect of a “LV” card. When this card is Summoned, negate the effects of all Non-“Horus” cards until the end of the turn. This card is unaffected by Spell/Trap cards. If your opponent activates a Spell/Trap card or effect, you can send 1 “Horus” card from your hand or field to the GY and if you do negate the activation then destroy that card. If this card is destroyed by a card effect you can add 1 “LV” card from your GY to your hand. You can only activate each effect of “Horus the Black Sun Dragon” once per turn.

If another “Horus” card is targeted by a card effect, you can send this card from the field to the GY and if you do negate that effect. If this card is sent to the GY by another “Horus” card effect, you can add 1”Horus” Spell/Trap card from your Deck to your hand. You can only activate each effect of “Cup Bearer of Horus” once per turn.

Prophet of Horus

DARK | Level 2 | Spellcaster | Effect

If another “Horus” card is targeted for an attack, you can send this card from the field to the GY and if you do negate that attack. If this card is sent to the GY by another “Horus” card effect, you can add 1 “Horus” monster from your Deck to the GY. You can only activate each effect of “Prophet of Horus” once per turn.

Temple of Horus

Once per turn, you can destroy all non-“Horus” monster(s) on the field with a level equal to or lower than the “LV” monster with the highest Level. If your opponent’s monster battles a “Horus” monster have your opponent’s monster lose 300 ATK during the Damage Step only. If this card is sent to the GY, you can add 1 “LV” card from your Deck to your hand. You can only activate each effect of “Temple of Horus” once per turn.


LV Up!

Quick Play Spell

Target 1 “LV” monster you control, send it to the GY and if you do Special Summon 1 “LV” monster listed in the targeted monster’s text ignoring Summoning conditions. During the Main Phase after this card is sent to the GY, you can Shuffle this card and 1 “LV” monster into your Deck and if you do, draw 1 card. You can only activate one effect of “LV Up!” per turn


Double LV Up!

Normal Spell

Target 1 “LV” monster you control, send it to the GY and if you do Special Summon 1 “LV” monster with a level equal to double the targeted monster’s Level text ignoring Summoning conditions. During the Main Phase after this card is sent to the GY, you can banish this card, send 1 “LV” card from your Deck to the GY. You can only activate one effect of “Double LV Up!” per turn

Continuous Trap

When this card is activated, Special Summon up to 2 level 2 or lower “Horus” monster(s) from your hand or Deck, also they cannot be used as Link material. If a Level 2 or lower “Horus” monster is destroyed (by battle or by card effect), return 1 face up card your opponent controls to the hand. You can only activate each effect of “Altar for Horus” once per turn.
