I do not, at all, funking understand Konami's mindset when designing Gimmick Puppet cards, beyond the fact that they clearly have no funking idea what to do with Gimmick Puppets. What's the funking point of this card? You're not getting anything valuable out of this card at all. I'd rather go Gear Gigant X to at least get some advantage back, since Gigantes Doll doesn't do anything to resolve the most burning, glaring issue Gimmick Puppets possess: Card advantage. They bleed funking cards doing ANYTHING! This card does funk and all in regards to fixing that issue, and is totally reliant on the opponent to even go off. And even then, naturally, Konami had to, in it's constantly retarded fashion, slap on more restrictions onto its effect than a teenager gets. It's funking ridiculous and this sheet HAS! TO! STOP! It's 20-funking-19 Konami, and making a moderately good, non-Trump level xenophobic GP card won't funking make GPs tier 0. This sheet has to funking stop!

 

EDIT: It's even worse how this thing is depicted as a golem made of other GPs, and yet somehow it's funking worse than most of the monsters that compose it. And seriously! They made the funking new Evil HERO better than it. AN EVIL HERO!

Basically, the only thing that can curb Broke N.’s wrath at this point would be if any further GP support released in this set lets them get the card advantage they so desperately need, especially to make up for the xenophobic restrictions that this and the last GP monster were given.

 

 

EDIT: Also, it's nice to see that https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Garlandolf,_King_of_Destruction'>Garlandolf has gone and made a Heel-not-quite-Face Turn and become a HERO.  And by "nice", I mean "Garlandolf did NOT spend 10 years as the "King" of Destruction only to be upstaged by A FRAKKIN' EVIL HERO!!"  Sure, the need to be SS'ed by "Dark Fusion" is an issue, but that's really the only thing holding Malicious Bane back, but just about everything else about him is an improvement over Garlandolf:

• higher original ATK,
• protection from Battle AND Effect destruction, 
• a destruction effect that isn't On Summon and can be used every Main Phase and that also focuses ONLY on your opponent's monsters, AND
• gains more ATK for each monster destroyed than Garlandolf does (Bane's 200 vs Garlandolf's 100) which, combined with the previous two bullets, almost ensures that it'll keep destroying stronger and stronger monsters each turn with its effect while restricting you to attacking ONLY with "HERO" monsters, which includes itself.

That EBI support is all over the place like wtf. The first is either you go ham with thousand-eyes dragon or the aformention Inti-Quila pair. Which as much as i love those pair is not something i ran in EBI deck. The 2nd effect is fine. 3rd effect is obviously the retake of anime's Rasca effects to OTK your opponent (Rasca effect is still unforgivable eh konami)

As a side note, Earthbound Super Priest is searchable by Dark Occultism as well as (good boi) Doomdog Octhros. That's... actually enough to build something around, I think.

 

Are there any Synchros that give an extra Normal Summon? Ideally, one could ladder w/ the Synchros, SS Super Priest, search an EI, and NS it all in one turn, but I can't see that happening w/o NSing a monster to get the ball rolling in the first place.

This is valid but I dont why they had to make the restriction to gimmicks only. I wouldve liked if it was Xyz and let us do Sheridan shenanigans or some actual good r8nk plays (sorry not sorry grinder and string bois).

 

Also diggin the bara Goodwin card, lvl 8 for trade in and a fiend so we got plenty of ways to get him out. He deserves a kiss

I’d prefer a card that boosts GP’s game state without relying on my opponent to do it. All it does is replace the two materials you spent with your opponent’s monsters, and then says “Okay, now you can only make 1 of 4 Xyz now. Enjoy!” Its fecking useless against Links, unless they happen to be machine Links you stole since Chimera Doll isn’t generic. And because most boards end on mostly Links stealing them to try and make N15 or N40 is pretty darn pointless.

Well... With that Gimmick Puppet Xyz.... At least you could still Tribute the monsters you took control of  for the Tribute Summon of your Level 8 Gimmick Puppets. Though I am not sure how often Gimmick Puppets can spare the Normal Summon.... It is a situational option to make up for the xenophobia.

You'd most likely be using your Normal Summon in order to make Gigantes Doll (NS Humpty Dumpty to Special Summon Scissor/Egg Head/Gear Change). Otherwise, you'd most likely have to burn Junk Puppet to revive Humpty Dumpty to avoid NSing. And nothing makes up for the stupid level of xenophobia GPs are gaining. Oh yeah it's totally fine and fair to make dumbass dragon cards so unlimited they can create ten hour long turns, but heaven help GPs getting a bit more freedom considering their best Rank 8-making-card can only make a grand total of 5 cards.
