Was half hoping this would be some form of Butterspy support https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Butterspy, but oh well... I mean I guess it kind of is given their one floater Moonlit Papillon https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Moonlit_Papillon can float off of Link Summoning, but alas Butterspy have to be mostly comprised of  Warrior monsters for some reason.

we've been getting some rather good insect support lately, and i'm not complaining. inzectors and battlewasps will love this, as will krawlers, but what other real insect decks are there?

  • Giant Ballpark builds: Deck based off that one field spell that craps out a ton of Normal Insect monsters via stopping battle damage.
  • Traptrix: Dual Typing I know, but this Link doesn't specify typing of materials. Winmoar for the Deck, but it is an option to spam Myrmeleo's effect.
  • Naturia: Probably not a lot you can get off of it considering how slow Naturia's are.
  • Spiders: LOL good luck getting it out, best I could come up with is using Block Spiders swarming effect and using one of them for Linkuriboh to follow up with this.

Chances are if you are going to be running this in other Insect archs. Your probably better off splashing some of the better insect engines with them

Sooo... You mean Danger Mothman, right?

Well along with that Link Inzektor, and Gokipole. Yeah.

Ohhh I almost forgot: Digital Bugs could possibly use this as well.

I'm ashamed that i forgot traptrix. I run the damn deck and it slipped out of my mind. It may be mixed typing, but sacred tree cycles through them quickly enough to build them into link 3 with relative ease. the reborn effect also makes nepenthes easier to put into defense for the search/summon effect. you only need one or two counters on it to make good use of the effect really, so it shouldn't be too hard to make in the deck by turn two or three.
